GENESIS: NATIONAL TRAINING TOURThe 36-city Hyundai Sales Training 2014 Product Support and STAR Certification Workshop Tour kicked off on May 6th and continues through August 27th. This training includes an interactive session with a ‘15 Genesis 3.8 HTRAC® (AWD model), including a comparison with the Mercedes-Benz E350 4MATIC AWD; and this session also covers the latest Blue Link® enhancements. HMA is also conducting training for Service Managers and Service Advisors so they’re prepared to answer questions about new technology while exceeding the expectations of premium car buyers when they come in for service.

BOCA RATON: COUNCOURS D’ELEGANCE Rick Case Hyundai, Plantation, Florida, put an all-new Genesis front and center at the 8th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance. It was featured at the duPont Registry Live Hangar Party on Friday night, and was “on the lawn” at the event on Sunday.

This event attracts some of the finest automobiles and motorcycles ever built, and raises money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, making it the ideal location to highlight every-thing Hyundai premium vehicles have to offer.

Phone Pairing

Hands-free cellular phone operation is easy once a phone is paired to the vehicle. These are the steps to pair a phone for the first time:

1.HavethetransmissioninPARK.2. Press the PHONE button on the control panel. 3. Using the central control knob, select YES, and then press down the knob.4. Turn on the phone’s Bluetooth®—select the device found on your phone

(look in SETTINGS on most phones).5.Whenprompted,enterthePASSKEYonyourphone.6. If the phone prompts a phonebook access request, select ALWAYS ALLOW.7. Equus will confirm that it has successfully

connected to your phone.8. If you want, select CONTACTS with the center

control knob to download the contacts from the phone.

Navigation

Here are the steps to follow to go to an address:

1. Press the DESTINATION button on the control panel. 2. On the navigation screen, use the central control knob to select SEARCH BY ADDRESS, then

push knob.3. Using the central control knob, “type” the CITY NAME; when finished, push the knob to select

the name on the screen.4. Using the central control knob, enter the STREET NUMBER and press DONE.5. Enter the STREET NAME and push the knob to select when completed.6. Select SET AS DESTINATION, then push knob.7. Select START GUIDANCE,

then push knob to begin driving directions.

8. To cancel driving directions: press the TALKbutton

Heated Steering WheelEquus comes equipped with a heated steering wheel as a standard feature. Pressing the Heated Steering Wheel button warms the steering wheel (and the indicator on the button is illuminated when pressed). The heater has a timer that stops automatically after 30 minutes.

Available “Your Time, Your Place” Demonstrations

One of the keys to Equus ownership is our Concierge Service, which represents an entirely new kind of luxury. For example, if an Equus owner needs help with a feature, our “Your Time, Your Place” service means a product specialist will go to the customer’s home or office to help.
