Located in the picturesque St Pauls Square set in the centre of Birmingham’s JewelleryQuarter, The Jam House can cater for yourspecial requirements night or day. The JamHouse is a live music venue with a passion for great service and high calibre entertainment. This open plan venue is perfect for any of your needs. Whether it is an exclusive use of the venue during the day for conferences or presentations and launch events or taking the whole venue to celebrate a very special private party, we can create an environment to suit all your personal or business needs.

We love hosting parties at the Jam House, whether it be to celebrate your birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement or just an excuse to get together with friends or colleagues. Whether you are looking for a seated meal, buffet or just drinks and some great live entertainment, we can provide all the ingredients for a fantastic night out.

The Jam House is available for exclusive evening hire from Sundays to Wednesdays or part-hire on other evenings – nearly anything is possible, just call us. A capacity of 550, we can offer formal dining for up to 200 people or 100 theatre style with a complete audio-visual package available if necessary. The venue is also completely wi-fi enabled for full internet access. Our venue is completely open plan so you are never too far away from the action!

ABOUT US

The unique Jam House concept began in 1999 as an amalgamation between Jools Holland and designer Neil Tibbatt.The partnership wanted to produce a night out which had elements of live music, fine dining, and good times.

The first Jam House venue opened inBirmingham on 23rd April 1999, featuring itssupport maestro – TV presenter and pianist,Mr Jools Holland. The Jools Holland big bandrocked the place on the opening night andcontinues to make occasional appearancesat this exiting and unique venue.

The Jam House has won many awards including being voted the Best IndependentVenue two years in a row and the Best Venue for over 500 people by the Birmingham Musical Association! We have also been awarded a Safety and Community Partnership as we understand the importance of serving the local community.

The Jam House has been the host to a variety of high-profile acts including Chaka Khan, Hot Chocolate and of course Jools Holland and his Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Orchestra! Other famous faces that we are very proud to have featured include The Stylistics, Shakatak, Shalamar and of course, hundreds more

Here at the Jam House, we ensure that we have live music playing every single night we open our doors. On Friday and Saturday nights, the bands pack out our crowds to capacity appealing to people of universal backgrounds with their renditions of classic songs.

Weekdays are where we delve deeper into a broader array of musical styles and genres spanning from Gospel Choirs to Latin nights with salsa classes to Acoustic sessions where local up-and-coming musicians take to the stage!

Our Restaurant has a maximum capacity of 120 people so is perfect for your hiring needs for a relaxed, sit-down, high quality meal!Our head chef Adam harmonises both multicultural and traditional foods to create our menu.

We will need 7 days’ notice to bake you a cake for a minimum of two people. If you would like, you can also bring a cake of your own and we will store it for you and present it to your party on the evening!

DRINKS RECEPTION:

If you have a party that would like to casually dine with us on our main stage area, we can offer you an array of buffet options!

On a weekend evening, you would have exclusive use of this area until 9pm, at which time the general public would be invited to mingle with your party!

For a minimum of 25 people, we could offer you a choice of Finger Food or Hot Fork.’ Please see our buffet prices and sample menus on pages 18 – 19

If you have a larger group who would like to nibble on our high-quality canapes, we can reserve an area for you!

For a minimum of 40 people, we would reserve our main stage area for your party. If you are interested in a weekend evening, at 9pm we would invite the general public to join your party to view the live entertainment together!

The Jam House prides itself on putting on high calibre acts for our customers, this remains the same for our private hires! You can either use our equipment to put on a band of your choosing or we can arrange an act to perform for you!

We can provide you with music of your choice, providing you with a range of bands and genres who perform at a professional standard.

The Jam House has been proud to host influential business events for a wide variety of companies including Apple, KPMG and Parkinsons UK!

We can cater to all of your needs whether it be for a formal marketing event with canapes, a daytime seminar with teas and coffees or, even facilitating an award ceremony

The Jam House is available for exclusive evening hire from Sundays to Wednesdays or part-hire on other evenings – nearly anything is possible! Maybe it is a theatre-style presentation or conference that requires a full audio-visual package for up to 170 people. Maybe it is a formal dining affair spanning over two floors for up to 200 guests. Or maybe, you are looking for a venue to throw a huge event for 550 people with the full use of all our bars. Whatever it may be, we are more than happy to entertain your party!

We are very flexible and are more than ready to go out of our way to provide you with everything that you can dream of to make your night special.

Our minimum spend for private hire events is £2,000.00 but this is subject to change depending on what you require from us!
