Arbory Bar & Eatery is suitable for events from 30 guests up to 500 guests. Given the layout of the venue we have a number of spaces for you to consider for your next event. Below is a couple of options which range from spaces ideal for cocktail style events and sit down events. 4.2 How to Find Us

By TrainBuilt on the old disused Sandridge railway line at Flinders st station, Arbory is located between platform 13 and the iconic Yarra River, making it easy for you to get there and away. Head East along the platform towards the Swanston st exit and turn right. Before crossing Princes Bridge, head down the stairs and follow the path to Arbory… A refreshing ale awaits.

By TramTram numbers 8, 72, 67, 64, 6, 5,3/ 3a, 16 and 1 all stop outside Federation Square and Flinders st station. The 70 or 75 will also take you to our door. Get off at the Flinders and Elizabeth Street stop and take a wander underneath Flinders station towards the Yarra River. Arbory will be on your left.

By CarCar parking is available at Federation square car park, with entry via Flinderst st and Russell St. Alternatively, Car parking is conveniently located underneath the NGV via the entrance on Southbank Boulevard. Arbory is a short walk from both.

Wheelchair AccessArbory is accessible via the lift opposite federation square and Transport bar. Take the elevator down to the bottom, turn right and follow the north bank to Arbory.

4.3 Terms & Conditions

RequirementsWe require a minimum of 30 guests for a function, however this can be arranged with a minimum spend if party is below 30. Guests are required to be on a food package and either a beverage package or drinks on consumption. If guests choose to go with drinks on consumption then a minimum spend will be required (please enquire with events manager). The last function booking we take on Friday’s and Saturday’s is 5pm. (Please Note: December functions are an exception)

Tentative BookingsWe can secure the function date for up to 7 days, after the period has lapsed we will contact you, if it becomes unsuccessful we have the right to remove the tentative hold.

DepositsA deposit is required to confirm the date of the function, the deposit amount is based on the total cost of all food expenses. Deposit's can be paid by EFTPOS, credit card, or on site. Deposits are non refundable within 2 weeks of the function date.

Final PaymentIf the beverage package has been chosen the final payment must be paid upon arrival or prior to the function. If guests are on drinks on consumption the minimum spend must be met, payment can be made on the conclusion of the function however a credit card must be presented on arrival and will be place behind the bar.Arbory has the right to charge you the minimum spend if the party does not reach the amount.

Final Selection1. Cocktail: canapé items from the function menu must be selected 7 days prior to the function. 2. Yoder Smoker: entrees, meat selection and sides must be selected 14 days prior to the function. 3. Beverage Package: beverage selection must be selected 14 days prior to the function. Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA)All staff are trained in Responsible Service of Alcohol and by law reserve the right to stop serving anyone that they deem to be intoxicated. Arbory takesResponsible Service of Alcohol obligations seriously. In the unlikely event a guest is asked to leave due to intoxication or antisocial behaviour, no refund can be offered. A five hour time period is the maximum time functions can be booked.

Audio & Visual EquipmentThe venue is unable to provide dedicated facilities for audio and visual functions. Guests are unable to provide their own music and as such music will be provided by Arbory. The volume of music is unable to be adjusted or isolated to specific areas of the venue. This will be dictated by Arbory on the day.

SpaceFunctions will be allocated a designated space for the duration of the function. This will be determined at the time of booking and is subject to availability. High bar tables are located in the area of the general public and can not be sectioned or roped off. None of the spaces offered by Arbory Bar & Eatery are fully private and as such are located in the area of the general public.Canapé style functions are booked in spaces that allow some guests to be sitting some standing in a cocktail style format.Sit down functions are not available on Friday and Saturday nights.

Entry In the event Arbory is at it’s guest capacity, overall numbers will be held to ensure space for your party. Please inform your guests to make themselves known at the door for immediate entry.

December FunctionsFunctions booked in December are required to be on a food and beverage package. All functions must commence by 5pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays throughout December. For availability Sunday - Wednesday please enquire with our event management team. All function bookings must have a minimum of 30 guests to proceed with a package. Bookings below 30 guests can be made at: arbory.com.au/bookings.

Sit down events are not available on Thursdays, Friday and Saturday nights during December. Any changes in guest numbers or menu selections once the function details have been confirmed will need to be approved by the function manager and are subject to availability.
