Pakenham Racing Club’s Event Centre is the ideal destination for your next corporate or business event, school function, intimate gathering, sporting event or large scale exhibition.

Part of the Pakenham Racing Club’s Stage 1 development, is an $11 million, state-of-the-art event centre which will transform the Pakenham Racecourse into a total leisure and entertainment destination.

Multi-use in every sense, the Pakenham Racecourse accomodates over 10,000 patrons in festival mode, 600 guests for a gala dinner or award ceremony and 1,000 guests for a cocktail function. Smaller intimate spaces are also available for conferences, parties and other celebrations.

Highly flexible, the venue has the ability to convert to various configurations to suit your next function or event.

Event Centre

As the newest, largest facility of its type in the region, the Event Centre accommodates over 1,500 guests, and is one of the most sophisticated and flexible event spaces in Melbourne’s South East.

The Event Centre enables the Function Centre, Members and Public Dining Rooms to be used in combination to suit large dinner functions and award ceremonies.

Combine the Event Centre with our racecourse grounds for major events, shows and festivals.

Our dedicated team will work with you to create a truly memorable occassion. We will assist you with your AV, staging and dance floor requirements and work closely with your entertainment and decorative stylists to ensure your event runs smoothly and looks amazing.

Utilise the foyer as a reception, pre-dinner drinks or registration zone. The layout and flexibility of the rooms will enable you to tailor the design, decor and style to suit almost any event.

With floor to ceiling views over the racetrack, all of our function spaces provide plenty of natural light or can be styled to provide the backdrop to your next function.

All rooms feature column-free, flat space that can be configured to suit any type of function or event. Designate where you wish your bar, staging or dancefloor to create a unique event tailored to your needs.

With an operable wall between rooms larger events are well catered for. Alternatively it provides easy access to breakout rooms or seperate spaces for catering.

The expansive Terrace will recharge and refresh your delegates as they take in the views of the racetrack.

This versatile space can cater for numerous social or corporate events. The added flexibility of adjoining function rooms being seperated by an operable wall means that if your function unexpectably grows or you wish to have meals in one room, yet dancing and a band in another room we can cater to your needs.

The Pakenham Racecourse is a unique venue with state-of-the-art facilities set on 608-acres that is suitable for markets, fairs, festivals, caravan and camping shows and product displays

Easily accessed by the Princes Highway and Vline train stations (Tynong or Nar Nar Goon) your guests will enjoy access to ample free parking spaces.

The well maintained grounds provide a perfect setting for your outdoor function with all the following infrastructure provided;• Power• Water• Toilets• Fencing• Carparking• Grassed & paved thoroughfares• Lighting.

The venue also has a range of indoor and undercover areas providing an element of security against inclement weather.
