We are blessed to live in our nation and we want to thank everyone who has served or is still serving protecting the great freedoms we all enjoy. We have so many fun and exciting things coming up at Five Points during the next 2 months. We will be expanding our group exercise classes so that we can accommodate those members who have schedules that just don’t fit into our current schedule. We will be offering Virtual Les Mills in studio 2 &3 all day long when regular classes are not being offered. This means you will be able to take some type of class every hour on the hour. This brings oth- er benefits as well. We will be able to offer classes that we may not have an instructor for, such as Born to Move for kids! This will be a great way for those new to group exercise to take a class to familiarize themselves with the format before they join a bigger group, and add more variety! Look for a schedule of the virtual classes that will be offered in these two studios. Be sure to come and support Five Points Summer Jam on July 28. This is a fun all day outdoor music festival benefiting Washington’s St. Jude Runners. The runners will get $5 for every ticket purchased. It starts at noon, goes until 11:00 PM and features 4 great bands; Dexter O’Neal & the Funkyard, Cousin Eddie, Cowboy Jukebox, and Run Forest Run. There will also be a party pit, VIP tent, food vendors, beer tent, outside water feature, and more. Come out, have fun and support a great cause all at the same time. If you have a young one in your life celebrating a birthday soon, Five Points has added a fantastic new birthday party option for the summer months. The Water Wars party is a blast for kids. I know this to be true because my granddaughter just had one and every kid there had a blast. They play all kinds of outdoor water games.
