This pos ition is a stand alone role and the success ful candidate will be responsibl e for t he accounting funct ion in the Paris office. You will p oss es a strong Accounting background, and previous experience working in small to medium size enterprises. Role details Prepare/support with the draft management accounts. Validate purchase invoices and log onto accounts system journal inp ut. Entering all bank receipts and payments. Bank reconciliations on a daily basis. Manage inter-company reconciliations. Create and track sales invoices. Negotiate payments with suppliers a nd obtain approval from the Commercial Director. Reconcile supplier statements. Support with t he updating mo nthly budgets and managing the balance s heet/Bilan. Follow up with any statutory reporting, declarations or legal res ponsibi lities. Coordinate the recruitment process with HR in UK, as required. Drafting employee contr acts, monitoring legal costs, see king HR suppo rt as required. Track staf f movements; changes in s alaries an d roles etc. Producing management reports and assistingthe Global Finance in UK on ad-hoc tasks. Skills and qualifications: Good communication skills in English and French. Minimum 5 years experience, some of which has been gained working in a stand alone role, with reporting responsibilities toGlobal Finance funct ion. Proven ability in Management Accounts. Experienced in working with detailed s preadsheets a nd knows how to present data to best effect. Can provide advice and input into the decision making process that is in the commercial interests of the business. Remains aware of emerging practices and looks to make improvements to pr ocesses to impr ove effectiveness . Excellent communication skills and can build effectiv e working relationships with colleagues across the company. Excellent attention to detail. Produces accurate work, t ask driven, organised, good problem solving skills. Competent in Excel. Part qualified or qual ified by experience. Personal attributes: Mot ivat ed, enthusias tic and has a pos itive attitude to work. Proactiv e and s eeks to make improvements.  Approachab le, able to ins pire confidence. Positive ‘can do’ attit ude and takes pride in their work.
