As concerns over climate change grow and traditional industries grapple with new global realities, clean energy sectors are continuing to grow exponentially and creating jobs globally. With billions of investments in countries as diverse as the United States, China and Greenland, clean energy is one of the key thrust areas in the 21st century.

World marketed energy consumption is projected to grow by 44 percent between 2006 and 2030: increasingly clean energy sources are contributing to the growth in supply. One of the key bottlenecks the energy industry faces is the availability of a qualified, globally deployable workforce.

“We’ ll invest in especially clean energy technology – an investment that will strengthen our security, protect our planet, and create countless new jobs for our people.”

PREPARING FOR GREEN COLLAR JOBSIn today’s competitive world, engineering has become highly interdisciplinary and specialized. To face the challenges at your job, you need much more than a mere understanding of textbook principles.

Your ability to bring together constructs to execute projects is vital. So is your experience of working with real teams for solving complex problems in the field.

India produces a large number of engineering graduates every year, but multinational companies find that just 25% of them are employable. The

Modern software and analysis is critical to

the energy sector today: we arm you with

a comprehensive understanding of the

various toolkits used by leading players,

so that you are equipped with right insights

instantly.

BACKBONES OF COMPETENCE

Depending on your choice of electives, a

comprehensive array of subjects covering

the lifecycle of a power plant are available.

The unique systems-driven approach

allows you to put each process in the

context of the industry ecosystem.

Tools & Techniques

Good analysts don’t just process data:

they also present in logical, usable

formats. The programme equips you with

the communication and analytical skills

sought by the industry today.

availability of skilled, high-quality manpower is critical to continued growth, and India still faces major challenges with respect to productivity of an engineering graduate and domain expertise.

At PM DIMENSIONS, we focus on creating a competent global workforce for engineering projects by helping engineering graduates move to an industry acceptable /preferred level of qualification and competence.

LEARNING INFRASTRUCTURENuclear Engineering Academy has a state-of-the-art training centre located at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

This world-class facility has seven lecture halls, a high-tech laboratory and a resource centre

containing all material required to undertake the course. Thus, participants will find an environment

that is not only modern, but also one that is conducive to learning. Remote learning centers are

also equipped with computing tools and classrooms with projectors, and are connected to the core

center via web conferencing systems. All course materials shall be made available electronically via

a virtual learning environmnent.

Nuclear It is expected that over 20000 nuclear engineers are needed in India alone in the next few years to help fuel the planned growth, as India embarks on an ambitious plan to multiply its nuclear power capabilities.

Solar With a target output of 20 gigawatts by 2022, India’s solar PV industry alone is likely to generate 100,000 jobs by 2020. Globally, the sector is growing at over 30% annually.

WindIndia is the fastest growing market for wind power, and is slated to double its installed capacity by 2015 and triple it by 2020. India can attract $10billion in investments and create over 200,000 jobs by 2030 in wind energy.

are ready for the challenges posed and opportunities offered across

the global value chain.

The kind of projects we work on require intensive knowledge of

the appropriate domains. In order to ensure that analysts possess

the level of training we expect, all fresh candidates are expected to

undergo advance level training to make them eligible to work on

global projects.

Our courses combine inputs from various industry partners, and

have been tailored to suit current business needs. While drawing

from masters’ programmes from leading universities, the 12-month
