Many have stated that it is impossible to know whether or not we are living in the last daysbefore the second coming of Jesus Christ. However, below you will find dramatic proof that

these are the endtimes. The proofs below defy coincidence.

In Revelation 9:15-16, theBible prophesies that an army of 200 million soldiers will launch a war which would kill “the third part of men.” Never inthe history of the world until our present generation has there been a power on earth that could field 200 million soldiers.However, the late ruler of China, Mao Tse Tung boasted in his diary that he could field an army of 200 million. The CIAWorld Factbook reports that in the year 2001, it is estimated that China has 200,886,946 men of military age, and this num-ber is growing by 10 million per year.

In Revelation 13, the Bible prophesies that aworld dictator will soon rule over a world government. He will cause all people in the earth to receive a number withoutwhich they will be unable to buy or sell. We are seeing this prophecy fulfilled before our eyes in a most astonishing way.Nearly every human being in the world now has been assigned a number. In America it is our Social Security number. Inthe past few years, we have seen this number extended to newborns. A child without a Social Security number cannot bedeclared as a dependent on an income tax return. We have seen the emergence of electronic money, shopping with creditcards, and many people urging the abolishment of cash. All of these things could not possibly have been fulfilled until thispresent time. Only after the invention of the computer could such a worldwide numbering system be administered.

Revelation 13:7 andDaniel 7:23 prophesy the establishment of a world government. The term “New World Order” has become a prevalentphrase in the world’s political culture. Mikhail Gorbachev made the term famous, and Pope John Paul II has referred toit repeatedly. In the September 12, 1990 issue of the Chicago Tribune, our former president George Bush said, “Iraq isthe first test for the New World Order.” He emphatically stated that the Iraq War is Saddam Hussein against the world.The United Nations’ troops are continually referred to as the multi-national forces. The decision has been made to estab-lish an interdependent community of nations that will rule the world under United Nations authority. The Bible saysthat this will lead us into a great world government. The formation of this government is at hand.

Is it coincidental that all of these major prophecies pertaining to the last times are being fulfilled simultane-ously?

In Revelation 16:12, the Bible predicts that the EuphratesRiver will be dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east to invade Israel. This will happen at the time of the bat-tle of Armageddon according to verse 16 of the same chapter. The battle of Armageddon will be the final battle at whichtime Jesus will return and fight on the side of the nation of Israel. Immediately thereafter He will establish His kingdomand usher in His one thousand-year reign of peace. On January 13, 1990, the Indianapolis Star carried the headline “TurkeyWill Cut Off Flow of Euphrates for One Month.” The article stated that a huge reservoir had been built by Turkey. Whilefilling up the reservoir, the flow of the Euphrates would be stopped for one month and a concrete plug for a diversion chan-nel built. These things have now been done. With this newly built dam, Turkey has the ability to stop the Euphrates Riverat will. The conditions for fulfilling this 1,900 year-old prophecy are now in place.

WHAT IS ENDTIMEMAGAZINE?

In 1968, Irvin Baxter Jr. discovered theUnited States and other modern nations in theBible. He also found the Berlin Wall in the Bibleand that one day it was to be torn down,reuniting Germany, and that event would bethe catalyst to spark an international move-ment called the “New World Order.” Thesethings have now come to pass.

Irvin Baxter Jr., a Pentecostal minister,began Endtime Ministries in 1986 when hewrote A Message For The President, a bookexplaining the major prophecies of the Biblewhich he had been teaching since 1968.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, prophetic ful-fillment accelerated rapidly. The decision wasmade to launch Endtime. The purpose of themagazine is to explain the prophecies of theBible and to show that they are now being ful-filled in intricate detail.

Signpost 1The international community will

confirm Israel’s right to exist in theHoly Land. This will mark the begin-ning of the final 7 years.

The international community hasnegotiated the Roadmap for Peace, anagreement designed to bring peace tothe Middle East. The Roadmap con-tains all of the elements that are proph-esied for the confirmation of thecovenant.

Hopes are high that the Roadmapfor Peace will be put back on track yetthis year or early next year. In a speechin London on December 20, 2004,President Bush said that he was sure hewould be able to bring peace to theMiddle East during his second term.

Signpost 2At about the same time the confir-

mation of the covenant is to occur,World War III will happen. This warwill begin from the area of theEuphrates River, according to theprophecy in Revelation 9:13-16. Mostall of the Euphrates is located in Iraq.America has 150,000 troops in the landof the Euphrates at this present time.

Signpost 3Scripture clearly teaches that the

Antichrist and False Prophet willemerge from a reborn Holy RomanEmpire. That rebirth occurred in 2004.During the last year, the EuropeanUnion added ten new members, bring-ing the total EU population to 455 mil-lion. They also concluded an agree-ment on the first-ever European con-stitution.

Most of Europe already shares thesame money and have adopted theEuropean flag. The designer ofEurope’s flag, Arsene Heitz, revealedthat the 12 stars of the flag come fromthe 12 stars that traditionally ring thehead of the Virgin Mary. Her 12 starsare also found on Europe’s licenseplates and on her money. The RomanCatholic Church and Europe’s politi-cians are once again in alliance. TheHoly Roman Empire lives!

Signpost 4Nothing had ever jolted me quite as

hard. Immediately, upon returningfrom Israel, I heard the news.President Bush had signed the Real IDAct on May 11, 2005. A National IDcard for every person in America? Ijust couldn’t believe it! Yet it was true.

I’ll never forget my first reaction.“It’s later than I thought it was. We’recloser to the mark of the beast than Irealized.”

Witch’s comments on Immaculate Conception

I have been listening to your showfor some time now. I am writing tocorrect an error that was made onyour April 7th broadcast. First ofall, let me start by saying that I amnot a Catholic. In fact, I’m not aChristian at all. I am a practicingwitch. However, I was born andraised in the Catholic faith, and am ascholar of many different religions.

You were incorrect in your state-ment that the Catholic Church teach-es that Mary’s birth was immaculate.The Bible does refer to numerous“miraculous conceptions,” such asthe conception of Abraham’s sonIsaac (Genesis 17:17; Genesis 18:12;Genesis 21:2), Isaac’s children Jacoband Esau (Genesis 25:21), and Johnthe Baptist (Luke 1:18; Luke 1:24;Luke 1:25).

However, it is taught by theCatholic Church that while Mary’sconception was not immaculate, Goddid preserve her from original sin,since she had been chosen by God tocarry his son, Jesus.

REPLY: The doctrine of theImmaculate Conception does notteach that Mary was born by virginbirth. It does teach that Mary, by sin-gular privilege, was excluded fromthe stain of original sin. This doctrinebecame official Catholic Churchteaching on December 8, 1854, whenPius IX declared it so.

Papal authorityWhy is the Christian faith pervert-

ing the Word of God through theessence of government? I Peter 2:11-25 talks about how God tells us to

respect our governmental authorityover us. I found out through readingMartin Luther’s work that theChristian church twisted that scrip-ture. He believed in Papal authoritybut not in some of the actions in thechurch. Also, why do mostChristians think that the pope will bethe Antichrist?

REPLY: As I understand it, thebasis for what the Roman CatholicChurch teaches on Papal authority isbased on what Jesus said to Peter inMatthew 16:18: “…thou art Peter,and upon this rock I will build mychurch; and the gates of hell shall notprevail against it.” The next verse, 19,would be where Jesus gave Peter thekeys to the kingdom, saying thatwhatever you shall bind on earthshall be bound in heaven, and what-ever you shall loose on earth shall beloosed in heaven.

The error in this teaching becomesclear when you read the context ofthe passage. When Jesus said, “thouart Peter and upon this rock I willbuild my church,” Peter had justmade the great pronunciation, “thouart the Christ the son of the livingGod.” Therefore Jesus was sayingthat He was going to build Hischurch upon the revelation that Peterhad just stated: that Jesus was theChrist.

The Bible teaches in Mark 12:10:“The stone which the builders reject-ed is become the head of the corner.”This refers to Jesus Christ being thecornerstone upon which the church isbuilt. Secondly, when Jesus gavePeter the keys to the kingdom, Hedid not establish “Papal succession.”Rather, He gave Peter the keys to the

kingdom, which is the plan of salva-tion—being born again. Jesus said,“Except a man be born again, he can-not enter the kingdom of God.”When on the day of Pentecost peopleasked Peter how to be saved, he toldthem how to be born again (Acts2:38).

As for your second question, thepope will not be the Antichrist; how-ever, he will be the False Prophetreferred to in scripture. There will bea political leader who will be theAntichrist. Whoever is pope at thetime of the Antichrist will definitelybe the False Prophet.

Throughout the history of theHoly Roman Empire, there havealways been two leaders: a politicalleader and a spiritual leader. Therewill again be two leaders in the lastrevival of the Holy Roman Empire: apolitical leader, the Antichrist, and aspiritual leader, the False Prophet.

interview Will Grigg from the JohnBirch Society. This organization hasbeen considered by many to be farright-wing and cloaked in “darkness”from as far back as I can remember —and believe me that’s a long time. You“all out” endorsed Mr. Grigg and theJBS by putting your blessing on whothey are and what they do, not tomention that it came across that yougreatly respected and admired him.The things Mr. Grigg accused ourPresident and others of are not newto me and to most Christians whostay informed. He spoke of theirassociation with “secret” societies,yet the JBS itself is considered bymany to be a “secret” society.

You have lost credibility with me.

REPLY: I am very aware that theJohn Birch Society is consideredright-wing by many people.However, I have repeatedly checkedthe documentation on their writingsand have found their materials to beaccurate. They contend we are mov-ing rapidly into world governmentright now. The Bible teaches that cur-rently we are moving into world gov-ernment. These two positions matchcompletely.

Am I willing to accept everythingthe Birch Society says? No. But dothey publish things that the liberalpress sweeps under the rug? Yes.

Israel’s Security Council seatI enjoyed your article on the UN

and your questions to MauriceStrong. I am particularly interested inwhy Israel is never considered for aSecurity Council seat. Israel hasexperienced more wars and terrorismthan any nation because they are try-ing to return to the land God gavethem in Genesis 15. To me, an ever-lasting covenant to give a land as aneverlasting possession means the landstill belongs to Israel. God told Israelthat their disobedience would causethem many trials and, finally, disper-sion. But He also told them Hewould put them back in the land andthey would never be uprooted. Inlight of all of this, why are they neverconsidered for the Security Council?

REPLY: First of all, the UN is agodless organization. They do notconsult the Bible in their decisionsin any way, shape or form.Consequently, what the Bible has to

say has no influence over them.Israel has never been able to sit on

the Security Council because a nationmust be nominated to serve in thiscapacity by its regional group. Israel’snatural region is the Arab states thatsurround her. However, the Arabstates hate Israel and refuse to allowher to be a member of their region.Since Israel has not been a member ofany regional group, it was impossiblefor her to be nominated. Recently,after repeated requests, Europe hasagreed to allow Israel to be a memberof the European region. Israel couldnow be nominated for a SecurityCouncil seat.

Seeing the picture come togetherI am just incredulous at the rapidi-

ty of prophetic fulfillments fallinginto place. I am thinking in terms ofthat global conference in SouthAfrica where the Ark of Hope wasdisplayed and how it paralleled thebiblical guidelines. Shortly on theheels of that was Judge Roy Moore’sTen Commandments fiasco. Yourrecent teaching on anti-Semitism andhate crimes were accentuated by that

World ID card? The United States wants Britain’s

proposed identity cards to incorpo-rate the same technology as thoseused on American documents inorder to ensure compatibility. Itwould make information containedin the British cards accessible acrossthe Atlantic.

In light of this, civil liberty groupsare cautioning that the U.S.-led “waron terror” is causing governments tobuild a “global registration and sur-veillance infrastructure.” Its purposeis to monitor the whereabouts andactivities of whole populations. Thesegroups believe that national ID cardswill become “globally interoperablebiometric passports.”

Implants in criminals In the wake of the abduction and

killing of a 9-year-old Florida girl,police officials have been reassessingthe strategies they use to protect thepublic from such heinous crimes. InOhio, Butler County CommissionerMichael Fox is proposing a radicalidea: implanting people on probationwith GPS microchips so that they“can be tracked and located immedi-ately.” “People have these GPSimplants in their pets and, in somecases, in their children in the eventthey are lost or kidnapped,” Fox said.“I don’t see why the same can’t bedone for probationers.”

Personal data for 3.9 million lost in transit

In one of the largest breaches ofdata security to date, CitiFinancialannounced that a box of computertapes containing information on 3.9million customers was lost in transit

last month. The tapes sent via UPSearly in May have not been seensince. The tapes contained names,addresses, Social Security numbers,account numbers, payment historiesand other details.

Meanwhile, Johns HopkinsUniversity graduate students in acomputer security course found aneasier way to obtain this type ofinformation: using Internet access, afew dollars and some spare time theywere able to obtain reams of personaldata on unsuspecting citizens andwere able to build detailed dossiersusing only public databases.

Taking RFID home In an effort to appease consumer

and privacy advocates who worrythat data gathered from radio-fre-quency identification (RFID) tagswill be paired with shoppers’ per-sonal data, companies are devisingways for consumers to disable ordispose of the radio tags attached totheir purchases. However, customerswho keep the tags will be able toreturn items for refunds and creditwithout a receipt by matching theRFID tag to a customer’s loyaltycard or credit account number.According to Joseph Tobolski, anassociate partner at AccentureTechnology Labs, “Keeping theRFID tags in working order is in theconsumer’s best interest.” Industryrepresentatives say that, in thefuture, furnishings and appliances infuture “smart” homes will read theRFID tags on purchased goods toensure consumers never run out ofmilk or medicine.

In a similar vein, RadioShack isturning to smart-card technology inorder to learn more about cus-tomers’ desires. At their new flag-ship store called StoreOne, employ-

ees will hand out cards containing anRFID chip which will allow them totrack the displays patrons visit, thetime spent there, and whether theybuy anything. The cards may bedeclined, but those who sign up andleave an e-mail address will be noti-fied about promotions for items theyexamined.

Quartet reaffirms commitment to two-state Middle East solution

Hoping for a new start on the roadtowards peace, the Quartet – theUnited Nations, United States,European Union and RussianFederation – restated its commitmentto a two-state solution at a meetingheld in Moscow. Urging Israel andthe Palestinians to fulfill theirRoadmap obligations, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan stressed theimportance of full and completeIsraeli withdrawal from Gaza inorder to realize the creation of twodemocratic states, Israel andPalestine, living side by side.

Sharon-Abbas meeting possible ‘in very short time’

A meeting between Israeli PrimeMinister Ariel Sharon and Palestinianleader Mahmoud Abbas could beheld in the near future, and possiblyin Jerusalem. According to IsraeliForeign Minister Silvan Shalom, thetalks would have the goal “to coordi-nate the implementation of the disen-gagement plan” which will result inthe uprooting of more than 8,000Jewish settlers later this summer.

U.S. mulls move, as Iran and North Korea stand firm

Iran and North Korea are raisingthe stakes with their twin nuclearstand-offs. North Korea is not aboutto bargain away its nuclear deterrent,and Iran plans to notify theInternational Atomic Energy Agencythat it is resuming efforts to enrichuranium. The possible collapse ofdiplomatic efforts on both fronts iscausing the Bush administration toreassess its options including contain-ment and possible military strikes.According to Cliff Kupchan of theEurasia Group consultancy, there isabout a 70 percent chance of a U.S. orIsraeli military strike on Iran by nextApril.

North Korea has accused theUnited States of planning to turn itsbases in South Korea into a regionalhub for sending joint U.S.-Koreanforces under American commandinto potential regional conflicts. It is

charging that the U.S. is preparing toinvade and has refused to rule out apre-emptive attack.

France throws EU’s future into disarray

Fifty-five percent of French votersshot down the European Union’slatest move to unite its 25 nations byvoting against the bloc’s first consti-tution. British Foreign SecretaryJack Straw said, “The result raisesprofound questions for all of usabout the future direction ofEurope.”

Giuliano Amato, who helped draftthe EU constitution, described howits architects used ‘disguise and sub-terfuge’ to build what MikhailGorbachev has called the ‘newEuropean soviet.’ “The project of theEuropean constitution is daring, butto overcome obstacles in politics, it isnecessary to conceal them,” Amatosaid.

Judge wants to treat U.S. troops as murder suspects

In Spain, a judge wants to questionthree U.S. soldiers regarding thedeath of a Spanish cameraman killedduring the 2003 assault on Baghdad.The soldiers would be questioned asmurder suspects and for crimesagainst the international community.The Pentagon has found no fault withthe soldiers.

Annan’s chief of staff calls U.S.‘ungainly giant’

Kofi Annan’s Chief of Staff, MarkMalloch Brown called the UnitedStates an “ungainly giant” that onlyplays by its own rules and is thecountry most opposed to interna-tional constraints. Brown said thatthe U.S. which has led the world inadvancing freedom, democracy anddecency, must abide by others’ rulesas well as its own.

Pope Benedict XVI said that theChristian belief in the Trinity is anaffirmation that God is love. Like theTrinity, he said, “love is always amystery, a reality that surpasses rea-son.” The doctrine of the Trinity,which says the Father, Son and HolySpirit are three persons in one God,reflects, according to the pope, thetruth that “God is not solitude, butperfect communion. For this reason,the human person – the image of God– realizes himself in love, which is thesincere gift of self.”

Interreligious dialogue should help solve world’s pressing problems

Nearly 130 participants from tenworld religions shared the opinionthat while interreligious dialogue hascontributed to overcoming somehuman suffering and helped combatfundamentalism, much more grass-roots participation is needed. Theseopinions were voiced at the “CriticalMoment in Interreligious Dialogue”conference organized by the WorldCouncil of Churches (WCC) inGeneva.

The head of the Greek OrthodoxChurch said that Christian churchesmust set aside differences and adoptless confrontational approachestoward other faiths. He said “theconsequences of globalization, ter-rorism and the war on terror requirethat Christian churches rediscovertheir prophetic voice… to raise theirvoice and be on the side of peace.”

The American people don’t wanta National ID card. They aregetting one anyway. On May

11, 2005, President Bush signed intolaw the Real ID Act.

Lawmakers and the Bush adminis-tration know that you and I don’twant a National ID. They know wedon’t want a national database, stor-ing information on each of us that canbe accessed at the push of a button.That’s why the deceptive name ‘RealID Act’ was used for the bill. That’swhy it was attached to must-pass leg-islation that provided funding for ourtroops in Iraq. That’s why thisenslaving legislation received virtual-ly no coverage in the mainstreammedia, and then was passed 100-0 inthe Senate!

It’s a classic case of ‘governmentknows best.’ The real truth is thatgovernment has lost faith in free-dom—government of the people, by

the people and for the people. Whenour Senators and Representativesvoted for Real ID, they voted forcontrol…controlling you, controllingme.

Provisions of the billThe Real ID Act requires a stan-

dardization of the drivers’ licenses ofall 50 states by May 2008. The mini-mum requirements for the newlicenses/ID cards are: name, birthdate, gender, Social Security number,a digital photograph, address andphysical security features designed toprevent tampering, counterfeiting, orduplication of the document forfraudulent purposes. The cards alsomust employ common machine-read-able technology.

Homeland Security is permitted toadd additional requirements such asfingerprint or retinal scan, in additionto the above requirements. All of this

information must be entered into adatabase, which will be linked to thedatabases of the other 49 states.

Not just drivers will need thisNational ID card. All adults will berequired to have this federallyapproved ID. Starting three yearsfrom now, if you live or work in theUnited States, you’ll need a federallyapproved ID card to travel on an air-plane, open a bank account, collectSocial Security payments, or takeadvantage of nearly any governmentservice.

The reply went something like this:The requirements of the Real ID Actare voluntary. States linking theirdatabases to the national database isvoluntary. Standardizing the drivers’licenses is voluntary. They don’t haveto comply to the Real ID if they don’twant to.

They did not bother to add: Ofcourse, the states will lose their feder-al funding if they don’t comply.Furthermore, any state that opts outwill automatically make non-personsout of its citizens. The citizens of thatstate will be unable to have any deal-ings with the federal governmentbecause their ID will not be accepted.They will not be able to fly or to takea train. In essence, in the eyes of thefederal government they will cease toexist. But they don’t have to complyif they don’t want to.

Yeah, right! We’ve already beendown this road so many times beforethat we don’t even want to think aboutit! It is absurd to call this voluntary.

Did 9/11 succeed in destroyingAmerica?

The terrorist attack of 9/11 was aterrible event in the life of America.More American lives were lost thatday than on any other single day inour nation’s history. The goal ofOsama bin Laden and his henchmenwas to destroy the American way oflife. Did they succeed?

Did 3,000 dying on 9/11 undo all ofthe sacrifices of World War I when136,516 Americans laid down theirlives for the cause of freedom? Did it

undo all of the good purchased by theblood of 126,000 American soldiersin World War II who died to ensurethat you and I can enjoy lives of free-dom and happiness?

Are we willing to allow the tyrannyof 19 radical Islamists to drive us intothe tyranny of a government thatfeels now it has to control everyaspect of our lives?

Can anyone say “George Orwell”?

Those of us who have read GeorgeOrwell’s classic novel “1984” have tobe watching the unfolding of eventssince 9/11 with astounding remem-brance and with horrifying forebod-ing.

Are we too captivated by fear toresist the intrusion of governmentinto every facet of our lives? Are weso comfortable and complacent thatwe would not even resist if our gov-ernment launched a program to injecta chip under our skin for security rea-sons and for our own protection?

Tell me, has the spirit that gavebirth to this great nation died andtaken its place in the graveyards ofcomfort and ease? Is there yet aPatrick Henry among us with thetemerity and resolve to stand up topoliticians more concerned aboutsupport from their party in the nextelection than with doing what theyknow is right?

What is there to be afraid of?It’s not terrorists that concern me.

What alarms me is what scared our

founding fathers when they wrote theBill of Rights. It was resistanceagainst big intrusive government thattriggered the Revolutionary War, thewar that gave birth to this nation.

The famous Patrick Henrydescribed the attitude of our forefa-thers toward government this way:“The Constitution is not an instru-ment for the government to restrainthe people, it is an instrument for thepeople to restrain the government—lest it come to dominate our lives andinterests.”

Are there any Patrick Henrys left?Our politicians and our govern-

ment have found out that the fearcard works on Americans. In thename of saving us from the terrorists,we Americans are now acceptingencroachment upon liberties that wehave held dear for over 200 years. Isthere no limit to how far we will go?Has our faith in God become weakerthan our fear of government?

Wouldn’t you just love to hear astatesman stand up in our land thatloved the truth more than he lovedhis office?

Homeland Security? I want securi-ty…but not at the price of chains andslavery. The safest place in the worldis alone in a padded cell, but whowants to live there? Could we hear itjust one more time?

“Is life so dear or peace so sweet asto be purchased at the price of chainsand slavery?...I know not whatcourse others may take, but as for me,give me liberty or give me death!”

Are we just paranoid?

If believing the Bible is paranoia, then I am paranoid. The Bible explicitly prophesies a time when every person willbe required to have a number in order to function in society. The Real ID Act is the biggest leap toward the proph-esied mark of the beast since the founding of this nation in 1776.

The mark of the beast is going to happen. It is inevitable. However, it is not inevitable that America be a part of thissystem! Let’s opt out of Satan’s diabolical plan to control every person on earth. Let’s repeal the National ID!

It’s not over ‘til it’s overWe have three years until the National ID will be implemented. What can we do?

1. Pray. Prayer changes things. Pray for those in government. “If my people, which are called by myname, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; thenwill I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14)

2. Send this article to each of your Senators and Representatives.3. Demand the repeal of this enslaving legislation. Make it a litmus test in your next election—and every

election thereafter. Demand that each candidate state publicly that he will fight the National ID. If acandidate won’t do this, vote against him. If he says he will do it, but then doesn’t after being elected,vote him out in the next election’s primaries.

It’s one of those newspaper fillertopics: a mundane, dry, and drollnews story that seems destined to

be forgotten before the reader evenglances at the headline. Fated to theback-pages, or crammed betweenadvertising space for such excitingproducts as toothpicks or dentalfloss, it’s a topic that makes most edi-tors cringe. And they cringe notbecause of the topic itself or its impli-cations, but because to use this topicdemonstrates how little there is in theway of relevant news stories for thatparticular day.

But it is relevant, regardless of whateditors or the general public think. Infact, this news story is so significantthat, when carried to its logical con-clusion, it will radically alter hownations interact, and how we as“global citizens” are governed.

So what is this “humdrum” topic ofsingular significance?

Reform: to be more precise, UnitedNations reform. Stop yawning.

Since 1997, Kofi Annan, theSecretary-General of the UnitedNations, has been engaged in reform-ing the United Nations system. Most

daily papers and news magazines thathave reported on this process high-light the apparent: UN budgetaryrestructuring, streamlining of agencyresources, a reshuffling of personnel,blah, blah, blah. The dryness of thetopic is enough to lose even the mostardent student of international rela-tions. But there’s so much more to itthan meets the eye.

On March 21st of this year, Mr.Annan released his anticipated reporton the five-year follow up to the year2000 Millennium Summit. Titled,In Larger Freedom: TowardsDevelopment, Security and HumanRights For All. The main thrust of thedocument was centered on restruc-turing all levels of global governance,and “collective security” in particular.However, what makes this documentdoubly interesting is that Annan con-tinually hammered home a rallyingdate for major international changes,the upcoming Millennium Summitreview in September, 2005.

“…there is a yearning inmany quarters for a newconsensus on which to basecollective action. And a

desire exists to make themost far-reaching reforms inthe history of the UnitedNations so as to equip andresource it to help advancethis twenty-first centuryagenda…The year 2005 pres-ents an opportunity to movedecisively in this direc-tion…we must reshape theOrganization in ways notpreviously imagined andwith a boldness and speednot previously shown…TheSeptember summit mustproduce a pact for action, towhich all nations subscribeand on which all can bejudged.” (¶ 2, 3, 21, 72)

So what are some of the recom-mendations Annan made to “reshapethe Organization in ways not previ-ously imagined…”?

Upfront, most changes suggestedwould not be considered earth-shak-ing. Some fit within the earlier reformprograms from previous years. Someare focused on cutting outdated pro-grams and UN Charter throwbacksdating back to the late 1940s. Other

alterations have to do with interna-tional aid, third-world development,and a reformatting of global econom-ics (all of which results in profoundchanges too complex to explain here.)

On the other hand, some recom-mendations – both at the UN reformlevel and suggestions aimed at thelarger international community –reflect massive shifts in the fabric ofglobal governance. Consider the casefor collective security.

Collective security is not a newidea, but it has been an underlyingtheme of UN restructuring fordecades. In the context of reformingthe UN and enhancing the worldcommunity, a new “collective securi-ty” platform is up for consideration.

What is collective secu-rity? Simply put, it’s theconcept of allowing theinternational communityto have at its disposal amilitary function toenforce peace, contendwith national and regionalsecurity threats, and toprovide teeth to a grow-ing system of world law.

Bottom line: it’s the cre-ation of a world militaryplatform to assist theglobal community inenforcing its will. AndKofi Annan, in the Annexto his document, goes sofar as to request the estab-lishment of a UN civilianworld police force and thecreation of “strategic reserves” forpeacekeeping.

Now I know that Endtime readershave seen articles on the UnitedNations’ desire for a “collective secu-rity” arrangement, but this timeAnnan has hit on something a littledifferent. Recognizing that theEuropean Union is building a com-prehensive rapid deployment force,and that the African Union is work-ing toward their own rapid reactioncapability, Annan is now requestingthat these regional military programsinterlock with the United Nations toensure world security.

Already the EU, the AfricanUnion, and even NATO have legallinkages into the United Nations sys-tem. However, if this new regionalpartnership sees fruition, the UN

would become greatly empowered byhaving at its disposal a whole new setof global military and policing tools.The UN would be the general, andthe rapid reaction troops of theAfrican Union or the EU – or anupcoming North/South Americanunion – could effectively become thestrong arm for the United Nations.

All of this, of course, requires thatthe United Nations’ system of“world law” is elevated beyondwhere it stands today. This too hasbeen requested, with Annan suggest-ing that nations renew their pledgesand obligations to UN internationaltreaties. More than that, Annanwrites, “New laws must be put intoplace, old ones must be put into prac-

tice and our institutions must be bet-ter equipped to strengthen the rule oflaw.”

Enforcing world law, partnering ina new collective military arrange-ment, restructuring internationalfinances – something the CanadianParliament has already suggested bywriting into Canadian law provisionsfor a future UN global tax – changingthe United Nations Security Counciland the General Assembly to reflectan empowered UN, all of this smacksof a major move on the grand chess-board of global governance.

A number of years ago – I won’tsay when or in which cities – I wasinvolved in meetings with an organi-zation dedicated to bringing about areformed UN. The organization, theCampaign for UN Reform, has since

been incorporated into the WorldFederalist Association – the largestworld government advocacy group inthe United States (Author’s note:both groups have amalgamated into anew organization, Citizens forGlobal Solutions).

During these meetings, UN reformwas always couched in world govern-ment language: “the rule of worldlaw,” “international enforcement,”and “global management.” The ideasthat spun from these events includeda United Nations world parliament, aglobal police and military structure,and international taxation to pay forthese extensive reform measures.

Kofi Annan’s newly publishedreform ideas certainly mirror those of

other reform advocates,both directly and indi-rectly. But a September2005 start-up deadline issomething that sets thisagenda apart.

How? Simply put,we’re living in it.

A couple of years ago,I had the opportunity totalk with some delegatesfrom a Christian relieforganization. We dis-cussed international tax-ation, simply because it’sa necessary part of pay-ing for an empoweredUN (which this particu-lar relief organizationendorses). I arguedagainst the creation of a

world taxation regime. The dele-gates simply responded by sayingthat we need to “pay to Caesar whatis Caesar’s.”

But here’s the rub: the UnitedNations is not our Caesar. However,if it is reformed into a global gover-nance institution that can enforceworld law, that can call on global mil-itary assets, that can alter internation-al financial systems, then the UnitedNations is on the fast track to becom-ing our global Caesar. And accordingto Annan, the push is on thisSeptember.

That, my friend, should makefront-page headlines everywhere –but something tells me you’ll belucky to find it as more than just afiller piece in the back-pages of thesports section.

It’s not often you’re able to sit downand have a one hour conversationwith a man who has been in charge ofreforming the United Nations.According to some, the UN is the sin-gular structure designed to rule theworld. Although many of us object tothe United Nations running theworld, the truth is that it is specifical-ly designed to be a world governmen-tal system. A further truth is thatthose who want a UN-led world gov-ernment will vehemently deny thatsuch is their intention. That isbecause they know what kind of vio-lent knee-jerk reaction it would gen-erate.

Maurice Strong sits at the elbow ofSecretary-General Kofi Annan as hisUnder-Secretary-General for UNReform. He has served for a long timeat the highest levels of power. Here isthe final installment of a three-partseries — the analysis.

In the last two issues of Endtime,we have carried our exclusiveinterview with Maurice Strong,

Undersecretary-General for UNReform, serving under Kofi Annan.Since the UN will undoubtedly bethe world government of the endtimeand since Strong has been assignedthe task of reshaping the UN in orderto prepare it for global governance inthe 21st century, we felt that it wouldbe worthwhile to analyze carefullywhat Strong envisions for the UnitedNation’s future.

UN reformWhen asked about the progress of

UN reform, Strong indicated thatconsiderable success has beenachieved in reforming the bureaucra-cy of the UN to make it more effi-cient, but that reform of the basicstructure of the UN has been muchmore difficult.

The real power of the UnitedNations lies with the UN SecurityCouncil. The Security Council canpass resolutions concerning anynation or situation on earth. It canplace a nation under economic sanc-tions to produce pressure on thatnation to bow its knee to the edicts ofthe UN. It can decide that the worldcommunity should attack a nation,replace its government and even placeits leadership on trial before theWorld Court. A recent example ofthis course of action was the invasionof Yugoslavia and the ongoing trial ofSlobodan Milosevic.

The Security Council consists offive permanent members and tenrotating members. The five perma-nent members (Great Britain, U.S.,France, Russia and China) all haveveto power over all Security Councilresolutions. Strong pointed out thatthe structure of the Security Councilis more reflective of the world as itwas in 1945 than of the world as it istoday. Here’s specifically what he saidabout the Security Council:

“Reform is long overdue. The dan-ger here is that, if reform is not affect-ed to ensure that the Security Councilmore fully reflects the structure ofpower in today’s world, then it willgradually be bypassed and lose its rel-evance. This would be a loss to theentire world because the SecurityCouncil performs some functionsthat are absolutely indispensable toworld peace and security. The prob-lem is that, those who feel their ownpowers and prerogatives may bediluted by reform, are resistingchange.” Strong is specifically refer-ring to the ‘Big Five’ that enjoy vetopower. It is unthinkable that theywould be willing to give up their vetopower, especially the United States.

The surrender of veto power wouldmean the end of sovereignty. Ofcourse, the 186 nations who have noveto lost their sovereignty long ago.Just ask Saddam Hussein!

Many ideas have been offered forreforming the UN. The one thatseems most popular right now is theexpansion of the Security Councilfrom 15 to 24 members with perma-nent members being expanded from 5to 9. The four new permanent mem-bers that have been proposed areGermany, India, Japan and Brazil.However, these new permanentmembers would not enjoy the vetopower of the ‘Big Five’.

That hated vetoThe one thing that stands between

mankind and world government isthe veto. The non-veto possessingnations continually protest that theUN is unfair. Why should any one offive nations be able to veto the will ofthe majority? Yet it is understoodthat the United States will not evendiscuss the surrender of its vetopower.

Innovative ideas to undermine theveto are continually being put for-ward by the nations of the world.One such idea is under considerationat this time. This proposal is to allowa Security Council veto to be over-ridden by a two-thirds vote of theUN General Assembly. When weasked Dr. Strong about this new pro-posal, he answered as follows: “Itgoes to a situation that other govern-ments carry out at the national level.In the U.S. government, for example,a presidential veto can be overriddenby a two-thirds vote of Congress.The principle is certainly accepted asvalid by many nations. In that senseit obviously needs consideration.Certainly at the global level it wouldmake sense to provide for an over-ride in some situations. There aretwo kinds of situations in which aveto is used: those that may directlyand imminently threaten the securityof a nation and those that maydirectly or indirectly affect theirinterests. It is conceivable that therecould be conditions under which anoverride could be used that wouldrestrict its use to certain conditionsthat do not affect the immediatethreats to security.”

What is wrong with this thinking?UN advocates like to argue that theUnited Nations is not a world gov-ernment. Yet, now they are sayingthat forcing nations to act againsttheir wills should be within thepower of the global government. Ifthe desire is to establish another levelof government above national gov-ernment, then this makes perfectsense. If we want to retain ournational sovereignty, then everythingis wrong with it! If national sover-eignty can be overridden in anyinstance, then it does not exist any-more. World government has arrived!

Need for enforceable international law

We asked Mr. Strong whyPresident Bush sought a waiver forU.S. citizens from prosecution by thenewly created International CriminalCourt. His reply is telling. It gives usan insight into the thinking of UNadvocates at the highest level.

Strong answered, “It is one of theweaknesses and difficulties of the factthat we still do not have a fullyenforceable regime of internationallaw that can enforce measures againstcountries that have not signed on to aparticular UN treaty or convention.That is a problem. We do not have, ona global basis, that kind of enforce-able legal regime. That is still verymuch in its infancy. It is inconceiv-able that we will have such a regimewithout the participation of theUnited States.”

It is obvious from this answer thatUN officials believe the world needsa fully enforceable regime of interna-tional law. Strong also believes such aworld governmental system ispresently inconceivable in today’sworld without the participation ofthe U.S.

Religious unity essential for survival

“It was to recognize that religion isa powerful force in the world. In fact,the religious beliefs of people under-lie their motivations, which in turndetermine their behavior and con-duct. Therefore religions are andshould be an important source ofinfluence in what people call the softpower in the world. Of course, evenreligions themselves have differences.How to deal with those differences isa major factor in world peace. Whenthey don’t act together, they can giverise to conflict as we have seen inmany instances. Religion and peaceare interdependent. The meeting atthe United Nations simply wasdesigned to recognize that and to tryand create the condition in which thereligious leaders of the world—beyond the formal religions—evensome of the spiritual leaders who donot claim to have a specific denomi-nation—come together to make acommitment to peaceful resolutionsof their own differences and peacefulresolution of the differences thatthreaten the security of the world.”

Strong continued to say that thenuclear age requires us to seek forreligious unity and to achieve it.

Notice he says that religious unity isnecessary for survival: “Conflicts aredeeply rooted when they involve onereligion giving up principles that theybelieve are essential to their beliefsystem. That is difficult and hasn’tvery often proven feasible. But totranscend those differences, recog-nizing that it is in the interest of all, inthe nuclear age particularly, to find apeaceful way of settling such differ-ences is the common ground. Peace isnot just a lofty aspiration. It is anecessity for the survival and wellbeing of humankind, people of allreligious persuasions. That overrid-ing necessity for peace is what drivesthe search for unity and achieving it.”

In summaryAs you can see from our analysis,

Strong stressed two major needs inour world today. He spoke about theneed for enforceable internationallaw, which means enforceable worldgovernment, and he emphasized thenecessity of religious unity for thesurvival of the human race.

Javier Solana and I are coming upon our “tenth anniversary” so tospeak. That day of mixed curses andblessings occurred on November 22,1995. After devoting time to research-ing and exposing the New AgeMovement and revealing its prophet-ic ramifications to the Christian com-munity, I returned to the full-timepractice of law on December 1, 1988.I continued speaking on the New AgeMovement, edited a newsletter and,

with the assistance of an interestedfellow church member, ran a comput-er bulletin board service on the NewAge Movement and the New WorldOrder.

On the evening of November 21st,after carrying out my work as anattorney, I retired for the night near11:30 p.m. I was to be at the WayneCounty Circuit Court on November22, 1995, at 8:15 a.m. before an “on-time” judge who liked early morning.

Sleep was precious, but weather con-ditions were problematic.

Iawoke at 3 a.m., which was unac-ceptable. I needed every second ofsleep to be an effective advocate. I

tried my usual remedy of going to myhusband’s easy chair to read a booksufficiently boring to force my eyesshut. After an hour had passed, Iheaded for my basement office andlogged on to my email account. The

opening screen contained informa-tion about a strong earthquake thathad just struck Israel. Epicentered inEilat, the 7.2 mw quake had causedmassive devastation to the area. Iclicked the appropriate link for moredetails. The Reuters story appearedwith related sidebars. One link read:

“EU-Israel enter into treaty”Of course, as a long-time prophecy

student, that interested me. I clickedon the link and learned that the treatyhad been negotiated by one JavierSolana acting under “a full power ofattorney” from two European organ-izations: The European Union andthe ten-nation Western EuropeanUnion, a military federation. My firstthought was: “Who is this guy?”

In researching the New AgeMovement, I read of their aspirationsto scan major world books and newsonto CD-ROMS. That way theycould save trees and make booksinstantly accessible – all at the same

time. I remember reading this to myhusband back in 1982 and saying,“That’s one of their better ideas. I’llget the first collection and keep upwith them and clean house at thesame time.”

I had a serious collection of CD-ROMS. I had Buckmaster disks, anews service specializing in archivingbusiness news. I took a disk from ear-lier in the year and typed the name,“Javier Solana.” Instantly, back cameseveral articles. The one that caughtmy eye was about a near war at highsea between Spain and Canada inMarch, 1995. Three Spanish warshipshad been dispatched close toCanadian waters by Javier Solana,acting in his authority as ForeignMinister for Spain. According toCanada, Spain had fished the halibut,turbot, and cod stocks almost to thepoint of extinction. Canada madefruitless pleas for moderation. Whenone Spanish trawler, the Estai, strayedinto official Canadian waters, Canada

boarded it and took it into custody.With great public fanfare, Solanapromptly responded by dispatchingthree war ships.

The press release was one of themost incredible incidents of politicaldoublespeak I have ever read. Tosummarize:

� Yes, there are global treaties aboutfishing;

� The treaties cover only the types –not the amount of fish caught;

� If we are going to have limits onfishing, they should apply equallyto all countries and not just toSpain;

� Spanish fishermen originally dis-covered the Newfoundland fishingbanks; therefore, they should haveevery right to exploit them.

While I was looking at this inamazed wonder, a new Reuters articlepopped up about the earthquake. Ithad come in the wake of an expected

political earthquake in the form ofthe pending Barcelona Conference,which would conclude the BarcelonaTreaty. Javier Solana, with his dualpower of attorney from the EuropeanUnion and ten-nation WesternEuropean Union, would be solely incharge. There were three major itemson the agenda, which were summa-rized by Reuters as follows:

� Battling religious fundamentaism –worldwide;

� Favorable trading terms for thepartners in the Mediterraneanbasin;

� Get the U.S. out of theMediterranean and/or greatlyreduce its presence there.

Twenty-seven nations were to be inattendance. The participants wereclearly from an area paralleling theold Roman Empire. The onlyMediterranean nation that would notbe part of the proceedings was Libya.It seems that, only a few days earlier,Muammar Khaddafy had screamed ata gathering of Arab League nations,“What’s the matter with you idiots?Can’t you see this is a blatantEuropean attempt to gain hegemonyover our area?”

That’s exactly what it was. As I seeit, if God could speak to Baalamthrough his donkey, he could speakthrough Khaddafy as well. His warn-ing was ignored. Khaddafy himselflater became panicked at being leftout of “the European Club” and wasadmitted to conditional membershipin the 2000 Barcelona Process.

The U.S., according to the Reutersaccount, had requested to participatein the Barcelona Conference. Theywere denied on November 22, 1995,and “granted observer status only.”

Thanks to a certain proficiency ininternet usage, I too had ‘observerstatus.’ I did it ‘the poor man’s way.’Each night, I sat for hours at mycomputer calmly pulling down allavailable online working documents,press releases and articles related tothe conference.

Solana opened the conference onNovember 27th with what appearedto be an attack on Catholics. He saidit was auspicious that the conferencebegan on the 900th anniversary of thecalling of the first crusade by Pope

Urban II. “What a lot of intoleranceand misunderstanding that led to,”said Solana. The two-day conferenceconcluded with a group picture andSolana successfully achieving hisdesired treaty. He was given solecredit for the ‘diplomatic accomplish-ment.’ Ehud Barak was there repre-senting Israel. He said that, at longlast, Israel had joined the ‘EuropeanClub’ and that such membership waslong overdue. They had ‘beaten theirswords into plowshares,” gushedBarak. Yasser Arafat was equally adu-latory.

On November 28th, I sent emailsto my entire distribution list saying,“Watch out for this guy.” One of therecipients of my email, called me on

November 30th and said, “Turn onyour television – quick!” I turned onthe set. There on CNN was JavierSolana, giving me the opportunity tosee his face for the first time. He hadjust been unanimously voted the newhead of NATO to the utter astonish-ment of the Spanish press. Theynoted that if anybody had predictedsuch a development even five yearsearlier, they would have been lockedup as a total lunatic. Javier Solana wasthe leading Spanish opponent ofNATO. He had written a pamphlettitled “50 Reasons to Say NO toNATO.” In 1996, Boris Yeltsin ranfor re-election as Russian president.His campaign theme: “You’d bettervote for me – I’m the only person

who can stand up to Javier Solana.” I was dumbfounded. I sent an email

to the White House and said, “Pleasedon’t back Javier Solana as the newhead of NATO.” I cited his “let’s getthe U.S. out of the Mediterranean”stance from only a few days before. Afew days later I came home and myhusband said, “You have a letter fromthe White House.” It was fromPresident Clinton who thanked mefor the opinions I had expressed onSeñor Solana’s ascendancy to theNATO position.

On March 21, 1996, I awoke with amigraine headache. Normally, Iwould have been getting ready forchurch. It was clear that I was goingnowhere. I took three pain pills andheaded back to bed. Barry turned on“Sunday Morning”, a CBS news pro-gram. As I was lying there nursingmy headache, the host stopped toread a statement. “We interrupt thisprogram to bring you an importantspecial announcement – Javier Solana,the Secretary General of NATO, hasjust announced that the bombing ofYugoslavia might start as soon as thenext few hours.” Scenes were thenshown of angry Yugoslavian crowdsprotesting the planned NATOactions.

As soon my condition improved, Iheaded for my computer and did asearch to see what Javier Solana hadbeen up to lately. I found a speechwhere he was accepting a foreign pol-icy award from a U.S. organization.He cited George Washington’s warn-ing speech to the U.S. against “entan-gling foreign alliances.” “Why thoseentangling foreign alliances are goodfor you!” said Solana. I could nothelp but think of Daniel’s prophecyof “a mouth speaking great things.”

In the same speech, Solana said thathe had been given exclusive militarypowers over Yugoslavia, includingwhether or not to bomb it. Solanasaid he did not intend to use theauthority without first checking inwith the others, “but nevertheless,the power is mine and mine alone.”Further internet searches led me toMadeleine Albright’s StateDepartment website. On it, she statedthat “Solana has the power and hashad it since January 30th. We arespeaking with one voice throughJavier Solana.”

That night, I watched as PresidentClinton came on national televisionto announce the forthcoming bomb-ings to the American public. Henever said, “This is what I think weshould do,” or “this is what we thinkwe should do,” or even “this is whatthe heads of the world communitythink would be wise.” InsteadClinton said: “I agree with JavierSolana’s decision to do this.”

Amazingly, nobody ever asked,“Who’s Javier Solana?” I heard onour local news station that Pope John

Paul II and a Russian Orthodoxpatriarch by the name of Alexiye hadsent emissaries into Brussels to askSolana to please cease the bombing‘between the two Easters’ and givethem a chance to try and mediate apeace for the region. A headline inour local paper on Good Friday,April 2, 1999 read “Pope Rebuffed.”A few days later I saw a photographof the two church heads sittingtogether looking like two very deject-ed, and defeated old men. A weekafter Easter, I ran into SpencerAbraham, our junior U.S. senatorfrom Michigan, and asked him, “Whydid we hand all that power toSolana?” His answer astonished me.

He said he didn’t understand theYugoslavian policy himself – it madeno sense to him. He thought it mightbe President Clinton hiding behindSolana. Then he volunteered to methat he had met Javier Solana person-ally.

Solana left his NATO position afew months before his job officiallyexpired. He went to take a new posi-tion with the European Union – as“high representative” for the“Common Foreign and SecurityPolicy.” He was reported to be the‘new tsar’ of all EU military and for-eign affairs. He would also be the“Secretary General of the EuropeanUnion.” The latter was to give conti-nuity “between administrations.”

Solana’s new job had been createdin December 1998, while he was stillwith NATO. The specifications wereobviously written around him and hisNATO experience. The job was cod-ified in the official Europa documentsas “Section 666”. Approximately sixweeks later, on November 20, 1999, itwas announced that he was beinghanded all the power of the WesternEuropean Union, a military federa-tion with ten permanent members.He continued to make his routineannouncements that he was “workingon a permanent solution for peace inthe Middle East.”

On June 5, 2000, he introduced abill in the Western European UnionAssembly. It proposed giving himexpanded police and military powersover Europe. It would enable him topreside over the Political SecurityCommittee (PSC and/or COPS) andenable him to convene the Council ofthe European Union in the event ofan emergency. That bill,Recommendation 666, was passedand codified at Nice, France inDecember 2000.

Is Javier Solana the one? Should welook for another? I don’t know; but ifhe’s not, maybe the European prose-cutor should consider drawing up anindictment – for identity theft. Yourguess as to the Antichrist’s identity isas good as mine. For now, however, itappears increasingly clear that JavierSolana may well be the best “educat-ed guess.”

Then there is the awe! There is simply no place like St.

Peter’s Square with its circular colon-nade. The Vatican Museum bogglesthe mind with the incalculable wealththat resides there. For 1,000 years, thetreasures from the wars of the HolyRoman Emperors were laid at the feetof the Supreme Pontiff.

When entering the Sistine Chapel,you realize that the most powerfulreligious figure on earth is chosenthere. Pope Pius XII, Pope JohnXXIII and Pope John Paul II arenames that spring to mind.

Kings and presidents, Queens andprime ministers have all made theirway to pay homage to that mysteri-ous power residing in the papacy. Nowonder they say that all roads lead toRome.

As we walked through St. Peter’schurch, the world’s largest church, Iwas struck with the mixture of the

religious and the pagan. The images,the statues and the burning candles allseemed foreign to the Christianity ofthe New Testament.

Pontifex MaximusOn most of the statues and tombs

of the popes, I saw the inscriptionaccompanying each pope’s name—Pontifex Maximus. “What doesPontifex Maximus mean?” I inquired

of our Roman Catholic guide. She explained that several hun-

dred years before Christ, the HighPriest of pagan Rome, who was thehead of the polytheistic Roman reli-gion, was known as PontifexMaximus. Eventually, the RomanCaesars bore the title, includingJulius Caesar and later AugustusCaesar.

paganism had filtered back into theChristian church, that popes began toclaim the name Pontifex Maximus.Since that time, the name PontifexMaximus or Supreme Pontiff hasaccompanied the papacy. Strange!Strange indeed!

The papal audiencePope Benedict XVI had been elect-

ed as pope just 22 days before ourIsrael tour group visited Rome. Sincethe Bible teaches that the person whois pope at the time of the Antichristwill be the False Prophet, and sincewe are very close to the time whenthe Antichrist will appear, we realizedthat this new pope could be the FalseProphet himself. Therefore, wedecided to attend the papal audienceon Wednesday, May 11, so that wecould see the pope for ourselves.

When Benedict XVI came ridinginto St. Peter’s Square in his popemo-bile, the Catholic faithful from allover the world greeted him withapplause and adulation. The atmos-phere was very much akin to wor-ship. Some of the devout were seenwiping tears at this face-to-faceencounter with the ‘Vicar of Christ.’The atmosphere was electric and the

pageantry was moving.As I watched the pomp and splen-

dor of the proceedings, scripturesabout the Vatican came to my mind.“Come hither, I will show unto theethe judgment of the Great Whorethat sitteth on many waters…Thewoman is that great city that reignethover the kings of the earth…the sevenheads are seven mountains on whichthe woman (city) sitteth.” (Revelation17:1, 18:9)

Rome, The City of Seven Hills—Ihad heard it all of my life. While the15,000 faithful present worshiped andapplauded, God contemplated theimpending judgment foretold inscripture. What a paradox!

The last pope?In the 12th century, an Irish bishop

by the name of St. Malachy is said tohave fallen into a trance and seen avision of all the popes to come.According to the vision recorded in1139 AD, there would be only 112popes left.

St. Malachy described each of themin a single phrase. It is said that someof these phrases have fit their corre-sponding popes in an amazing way.The pope just elected is the 111th

from St. Malachy. The day before the new pope’s elec-

tion, Anvar Alikhan wrote on theInternet website rediff.com: “Thenext Pope, whose name will beannounced shortly, is described in theprophecies as Gloria Olivae, or ‘Theglory of the olive.’ What exactly doesthis clue mean? We cannot tell as yet.Some believe that it means he willcome from the Benedictine order,which is symbolized by the olive.Others argue that the olive signifiesIsrael. As in the case of manyprophets and seers, St. Malachy’sclues often become clear to us onlyafter the fact.”

Alikhan’s article continued, “As thecollege of cardinals works feverishlyto elect the successor to Pope JohnPaul II over the next few days, theywill have to wrestle with various cri-teria—political, organizational, theo-logical and moral. And to makethings more complicated, they mayalso want to make sure that, in orderto forestall any further doomsaying,whoever they choose has absolutelynothing to do with the words, ‘Theglory of the olive.’

2005may be the greatest year of prophetic

fulfillment since the crucifixion.Confirmation of the Covenant…......The Bible prophesies thatthe International Community will confirm a covenant with Israel concerning the statusof the Holy Land and the status of Jerusalem. When this covenant is confirmed it willmark the beginning of the final seven years to Armageddon. The Roadmap for Peaceis an international covenant concerning the status of the Holy Land and the status ofJerusalem. This international peace plan has been presented to Israel and thePalestinians and has been accepted by both.

It appears that all the pieces to the Middle East puzzle may well converge in 2005!

RFID and the Mark of the Beast………As of December 31,2004, Wal-Mart is requiring all its vendors to have RFID tagging on all pallets thatcome across its loading docks. This is the first huge step in the plan for every itemmanufactured on earth to be embedded with an RFID chip less than the size of agrain of sand. The embedded RFID chip is projected to replace the bar codes that arepresently found on almost all items. When RFID technology is fully implemented, itwill allow the tracking of everything, everywhere. In 2004, an RFID chip implantedunder the skin was used for cashless financial transactions for the first time.

This new technology is getting way too close to the biblical Mark of the Beast!!

Death from the Euphrates………Revelation 9:13-16 clearlyprophesies that a war will begin in the area of the Euphrates River that will kill one-third of mankind. Most of the Euphrates River is in the nation of Iraq. The U.S. has150,000 troops in Iraq at this present time. North Korea claims to have several nuclearweapons. Iran seems determined to acquire nuclear capability. The War on Terror isspreading, not reaching a conclusion.

We could very well be in the beginning of this war prophesied to kill 2 billion human beings.

We must Reach 2 Billion as Fast as Possible.……Thequestion is not: “Will one-third of mankind die?” Or “Will the confirmation of thecovenant happen?” Or “Will there really be a mark of the beast?” The only questionis: “When?” Can we sit by, allowing 2 billion of our fellowmen to enter eternity with-out a chance to be saved? We must reach these 2 billion people with the gospel ofJesus Christ as quickly as possible! How much time do we have? We don’t know forsure. It could be 1 year. It could be 3 or 4. But we know we don’t have long.
