Enchanting Hpa An

(3 Days / 2 Nights) This trip is specially designed for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Hpa An is a small town which lies in beautiful Kayin State. It attracts travelers with its idyllic scenery, friendly locals, adventurous activities such as caving, biking,

soft trekking, scenic river and emerald-green countryside.

Day 1: Yangon – Hpa An In the early morning, start the scenic drive to Hpa An: the capital of Kayin State. Hpa-An is an energetic, friendly town on the banks of the Thanlwin River. As approaching Hpa An, visit Bayin Nyi Cave and hot spring on the way. Then, proceed to Kawgun cave filled with works of art that are said to date from the 7th century. Arrive in Hpa An and check in at the hotel. After refreshment, visit Shwe Yin Hmyaw Pagoda. In the evening, take a pleasant stroll across the peaceful Kan Thar Yar Lake. At this end of the lake is a nice wooden footbridge with a roofed seating area in the middle. Visitors can feed the resident catfish population as local residents often sell bags of bread at the end of the bridge. You can also taste a variety of local food at the Hpa An Night Market. Day 2: Hpa An (soft trekking and biking around Kayin Villages) (B/L/D) After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will pick you up and start soft trekking through a beautiful walking trail. We will pass through interesting Kayin villages. The lush green scenery, cattles and the background mountains look like a magnificent painting depicted by nature. We also get a chance to learn the culture, beliefs and see beautiful Kayin’s houses. In the village, we can discover the untouched surrounding area of Hpa-An and feel unforgettable memories with Kayin people. Then, we will go back to Hpa An. Lunch will be served with home cooked Kayin foods. After refreshment, hire a bike and take an easy bike tour around the nearby village. As much of the terrain is flat, biking is one of the best ways to take in the natural splendor of the surrounding area. If weather permits, take a 10-minute boat ride across Thanlwin river. Soft hiking to the top of Mount Hpa Pu for sunset is a thrilling adventure. It is absolutely rewarding with speechless views of the incredible landscapes over Hpa-an and the elegant beauty of the Thanlwin river. Dinner & Overnight at hotel in Hpa An.

Day 3: Hpa An – Yangon (B) Savor a fresh breakfast at the hotel. Laze around the hotel compound and immerse yourself in the tranquility of preserved beautiful trees native to the valley. Feel close to nature by strolling along the open walkways and bask in the glimmering rays of sunlight. Check out from the hotel and start driving to Yangon. Arrive at Yangon.
