GOLF: Ladies: Sunday 20/6/10 – Glenda, Maureen, Teresa, Ann and Lindy travelled to Temora tournament on Sunday. The morning started off very foggy, but eventually it turned into a beautiful day for golf. We all came home empty handed, but an enjoyable day was had by all. (Except for the motor bikes next door, the noise was horrific!!) Judy Gorton was the handicap runner-up in Division 1. At home Shirley and Sandra played a stroke and Shirley blitzed the field with 63 nett bringing her back to 21 again. Sandra came in with a 70 nett. Men: The men played a stableford event and Lynchy won with 43 points. Big Fella Cooper was runner-up with 41 points and lost 2 strokes off his handicap. Apparently Stephen was on fire on the first 9, but the wheels fell off on a couple of the holes on the back 9 – he could have lost more shots – that’s golf!!!
