This spring will be our first mother/daughter trip to the south of France, so our thoughts are turning to…

… dining a la terrasse at chez Sophie …pretty patterns of summer dresses

…the colors of the macarons at Laduree …shopping for vintage china at Les Puces

…French silver in the dining car …the perfect linen

…cool crisp embroidered sheets at Chateau Pouget …warm showers with sweet smelling soap after a long day at the market

…fresh baguettes and butter in the morning …flowers

…tall decanters filled with something cold, served with something sweet, in a café in the afternoon

…the perfect Chanel pink …French champagne

Page 11 (clockwise from left) Tasting Spoons S/6 Granny G keeps a jam jar filled with an eclectic mix of little spoons by her stovetop, and

another by her coffee pot, so she always has a spoon nearby for stirring and tasting when she needs one. Brilliant! Eclectic set of six with vintage jam jar $39

Spreaders S/6 Another good idea from Granny G. Always at the ready for the cheese board, or

breakfast buffet. Eclectic set of six with vintage jam jar $39 Set of Ladles Now that’s something that’s always hard to find in the kitchen: a good ladle. This

eclectic pair is so handy. $29 Serving Fork and Spoon S/2 An eclectic pair of serving pieces, perfect for any meal. And so pretty. $29.
