SHARP WITH ART GROUP PRESENTS ELEMENTS ART EXHIBIT

PHILADELPHIA, PA April 13, 2013 Sharp with Art Group, well known for their art exhibitions and other installations at Urban Outfitters Navy Yard is showing their work at Crane Arts Center in Philadelphia, PA. Looking at a piece of art, there’s usually one thing that grabs you first -- something that makes you stand in front of it a little longer, something that might even make you tilt your head to look at it in a different way. You will experience just that at Elements Art Exhibit presented by Sharp With Art Group which will show what the artists are visually drawn to and the creative elements they incorporate into their work. There will be a broad variety of artwork including acrylic, oil, digital, photography, pencil sketches, and mixed media.

Sharp with Art Group is a group of five young male artists in Philadelphia. S.W.A.G. is intended to be a way of life that promotes a healthy lifestyle through the use of visual arts. The artists are also involved in giving back to the community, especially the youth through various forms of service. They work with children on different levels, all involving self-expression. Sharp with Art Group has put on a number of shows in the Philadelphia area, all with successful turn-outs and repeat attendees.

Please join Jae Martin, Shizzy Alexander, Neef Robinson, Stylez with the Smilez, and Kulu Hymans better known as Sharp with Art Group on April 13, 2013 for Elements Art Exhibit. The show will be held at Crane Arts Center, 1417 n 2nd Street, from 7pm until 11pm. Along with the artwork you will enjoy live performances, vendors, food and drink. The event has a $10 cover and all artwork shown will be available for sale. S.W.A.G. will also be collecting art supply donations for Art Rising, a non-profit that puts forth a community-wide effort to improve and expand access to high quality arts education opportunities for children in the Greater Philadelphia Region so that youth are better engaged in learning and find multiple pathways to success in school and in their community.
