Frequencyanalysis,
Envelope and Time signal
Easy-Viber makes frequency analysis with two transducerssimultaneously within the frequency ranges 0.5 – 200Hz,2 - 3200 Hz and 4 – 16000 Hz with a resolution thatcorresponds to 3200 lines. When analysing with only onetransducer the resolution is increased to 6400 lines.
As a help when analysing a spectrum Easy-Viber hassingle, harmonic and side band cursors.
The time signal is always measured together with a spectrum and the frequencymarkers are synchronised with the time markers.
Envelope is measured within the frequency range 1.2 - 2.2 kHz, 2.2 - 3.2 kHz,3.2-4.2 kHz and 3.2-20 kHz.The spectrum is shown within the frequency range 0.5-1000Hz
Coast-Up and Coast-DownWith Easy-Viber you can easily make a Coast-Up or Coast-Down to investigatethe resonances in a machine.
Easy-Viber automatically distributes the RPM range in 167 parts and measuresthe level and phase at every division of the RPM.
Total level and Bearing conditionEasy-Viber can measure total level and bearing condition likea voltmeter. The level is displayed both as a numeric value and as a scale.
This makes it easy to investigate how the machines is vibratingin different directions and in different measuring points and alsohow the machine reacts when a bearing is lubricated or whenthe stretching of a transmission-belt is increased or decreased.

Balancing
Large speed rangeBalancing can be made between 30 and192000 RPM corresponding to the frequencyrange 0.5 to 3200 Hz
2 transducers simultainiouslyEasy-Viber measures with two transducerssimultaneously which makes dynamicbalancing very simple.
Starts and saves automaticlyEasy-Viber both starts and finishes measurements with trial- and balancingweights automatically.A measurement starts automatically when the selected balancing RPM hasbeen obtained and finishes automatically when the measurements are stabile.
Balancing according to ISO-StandardEasy-Viber compares the balancing result according to ISO Standard. This makes it possible to balance any machine, even on site, accordingto ISO Standard without the need for a balancing machine.
Weight distribution to fixed positionsEasy-Viber can distribute the balancing weight to fixed positions e.g. tobolts in a coupling or blades in a fan.
Weight calculation to a new radiusWith Easy-Viber you can at any time choose a new radius for thebalancing weight and the instrument calculates a new balancing weightto the chosen radius.
Assistant that gives an alarm for the mostcommon faults
Easy-Viber controls the progress of the balancing and gives an alarm, ifthe operator makes some common fault like, for example, leaves thetrial weight in the machine when he has told the instrument to remove it.
With Easy-Viber balancing has become really “Easy”.
Vibshape measurements
Easy-Viber is creating a list of several measurements where the level, phaseand speed are stored.
Easy-Viber can also measure level and phase of a multiple of the speed andtwo transducers can be used simultaneously.
Easy-Viber can store 999 measurements in each list.
The Vibshape function is used, for example, when we want to animate (create amoving picture of) the machine or when we want to measure several measuringpoints, for example a large steam turbine with many bearings
