Mays Ecuador and Peru Business

Summer 2019 Program Timeline

Early September - November 1:

Applications accepted for Ecuador and Peru Business Study Abroad. Apply online at mays.tamu.edu/cibs.

Complete Application: Applicants are chosen at intervals until program is full, but apply ASAP!

If SELECTED to participate, you will receive notification from the CIBS office to your TAMU EMAIL ADDRESS.

You will have to CONFIRM your participation or WITHDRAW from the program in the study abroad portal.

CONFIRM Participation: Pay $700 deposit (non-refundable) as soon as you confirm and are billed by Student

Services Office (accessible through HOWDY). Students who do not make the payment by SBS due date will be

dropped from the program.

*Note: remaining program charges billed during spring semester; tuition billed in May. Installment plans can

be utilized if enrolled with SBS before Feb 1.

November 15, 2018: Pay remaining program-fee $400. Non-business majors must also pay additional fee of $700.

January 15, 2019: Pay TAMU Study Abroad Fee $300.

February 1, 2019: Deadline for TAMU Study Abroad scholarships. Visit sfaid.tamu.edu/UWideApp for International

Education Fee Scholarship (merit-based) and Study Abroad Fellowship (need-based). If your FAFSA is

current, request a Study Abroad Financial Aid Request Form from CIBS and meet with the financial aid

office.

February 15, 2019: Pay AIRFARE of approximately $1,400. This airfare includes flights from US to Ecuador/Peru and

multiple flights between Ecuador and Peru. Fees must be PAID by the TAMU due date or you will be dropped

by the Registrar’s Office.
