The solar collector is insulated with high-density rock-wool. The aluminium tray features special ventilation slits to prevent and resolve occasional internal condensate that may occurr naturally when there are considerable temperature swings (e.g. night/day).

> FRAMES AND SUPPORT BARSThe choice of the frames always involves compromises for the installer or reseller. What do you purchase? What do you keep in store? Are the collectors to be installed on flat roofs or sloping roofs? The range of frames for ECOTECH systems resolves these problems before they arise.The solar kit is supplied as standard with the base bars that include the fastening points for the collectors and the storage cylinder.These bars are always used, both on flat roofs and on sloping roofs*.A special set of additional “legs” (these can be ordered when required) transforms the bars into triangular supports suitable for assembly on flat roofs*: et voilà! Problem solved. on sloping roofs; min. slope of the roof: 20°; max slope: 55°. On flat roofs, the angle of the frame legs is 25°.

> BRACKETS FOR SLOPING ROOFS (TILES)A series of brackets is available for fastening the system to different types of tiles:PS: The fastening bars with stud inserts (not self-tapping) are required for the ECOTECH 300 system on all types of tiles/sloping roofs.

> SPECIAL P/T PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE DRAIN VALVEThis is used to limit collector overheating in summer (“stagnation”) if no water is used for several days (e.g. during holidays). This means the solar fluid retains its chemical-physical characteristics longer and less maintenance is needed.The valve is controlled by a device that measures the temperature and pressure, and drains domestic hot water, meaning new cold water is added to the storage cylinder; this in turn cools the solar fluid inside, which when recirculating cools the solar collector.
