EBPL Digital Resources: RB Digital Magazines RBdigital Magazines (Formerly Zinio) Creating an Account

1. Visit www.ebpl.org and click on RBdigital under Digital Resources on the Explore

tab and click the RBdigital logo; OR, go directly to

https://www.rbdigital.com/lmxac/service/magazines/landing

2. Click Create New Account in the top right, enter your library card number, and click Next.

3. Enter your name and email address, create a password, and

click Create Account.

4. Select East Brunswick Public Library from the drop down.

Searching and Browsing for Titles 1. Type in the search box (top left) to find specific magazine titles.

2. OR, browse using the dropdowns (top right) to narrow down by genre

and language. Example: Food and Cooking; English

3. Click to select your desired publication title. Example: Food Network Magazine. RBdigital Magazines will display

the most recent issue with a description, as well as back issues.

Checking Out and Reading an Issue 1. Click Checkout.

Note: If you wish to receive email notifications for new issues, check the box “Email me when the next issue is

available” before clicking Checkout.

2. Click Start Reading to display the magazine in your browser.

3. Use the arrows to turn the pages.

4. Use the buttons on the left for (top to bottom) Table of Contents, Skip to Page, Bookmarks,

Fullscreen, Zoom, or Print.

Using Article Search 1. Click Article Search (to the right of the search box when logged in).

2. Use the filters (Date Range, Publication, Publisher, Language, Country) on the left to narrow down your search

results. Example: January 1, 2017 – May 11, 2017

3. Use the search box (top right) to search for key words from articles within your selected filters. Example: Pie

4. Click the link to view the article in the article search window or click Read Full Issue to add it to your collection.

My Account and Preferences 1. From the RBdigital Magazines collection home page, click the drop

down in the top right to access My Preferences, My Magazine

Collection, My Account, and Log Out.

2. In My Preferences, turn on New Issue or New Magazine

Notifications and click Update to save your preferences.

3. In My Magazine Collection, view the titles you currently have borrowed. Click the Delete icon to remove a title

from your collection. Note: There is no borrowing limit on RBdigital Magazines. Check out as many issues as you

want and keep them in your account as long as you wish.

4. In My Account, edit your profile including your name, card number, email, or password and click Update Profile

to save changes to your account.
