Section 18A Certificate
Andrew J. Lamour. 56 of Northpine, is Founder and Director of the Foundation. He studied at Spurgeon's Bible College in England where he received his Masters in Advance Christian Studies in 2013 from the University of Wales. Ordained in 1987, he has spent 25 years in pastoral ministry serving various impoverished communities on the Cape Flats. He is married with four daughters and three granddaughters.
Magdalene Swain (nee Bowers). 50 of Soneike, Kuils River, serves as the Foundation's Fundraiser. After spending 14 years with the Foschini Group (TFG), she started her own industrial tool supply company, Wesmag. In 2007 she was nominated for WEBCOF’s prestigious Business Woman of the Year award. Her entrepreneurial drive and passion to make a difference in her community, has allowed her to serve on the Boards of Northpine Edu-care and Northlink College. She is a single mom to a son and daughter and grandmother of two.
Leigh Carolissen (Wagner). 34 of Protea Heights, is a medical doctor currently working in primary health care in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. She received her MBChB qualification from the University of Stellenbosch in 2006 and is currently doing a Masters in Family Medicine. She spent her childhood and attended school in Northpine. She has spent her teenage years in youth work and holiday club programs. When not juggling a busy work schedule, she enjoys time with her husband and two year old son.
Paul J. Petersen. 54 of Avondale, Parow North, is a Head of Department (Head: ESC Solution Support) at the City Of Cape Town under the directorate of Information Systems and Technology. His present functions at the City of Cape Town includes, coordinating system training, access control and profiling for a user base of 15000 staff. Furthermore Paul is responsible for keeping the ERP system stable and extending the SAP footprint. He is the current Chairperson of Lengro Park Body Corporate, a residential complex in the Avondale, Parow Area. Paul is husband to Elise and a father to Bradley, Roxanne, Tara and Matthew.
Fabian Oostendorp. 46 of Kraaifontein, is a business owner and founder member of Fisantekraal Golfing Community. He completed his apprenticeship at Ovenstone Construction and eventually became head of the SNAG teams throughout the country. His company specialises in medium & high voltage test equipment and is affiliated to various electrical institutions, guiding operators and students on safe handling of electrical equipment. In his spare time Fabian is either golfing or searching for golf talent amongst the youth in disadvantage communities. He is married to Patricia with a son Liam and passionately breeds with exotic finches.
