Uses both rhyme and rhythm. Rhyme pattern: A,A,B,B,A Consist of five lines; 1st, 2nd, 5th lines
rhyme and 3rd and 4th rhyme with each other and are shorter than the other three.
The last line often contains a funny or surprising ending.

Drafting
This is when you take your ideas from the prewriting stage and put them in the form of a poem.
Use your graphic organizer to help organize your thoughts.
Drafting is messy. Main focus is getting your thoughts down
and content of your writing on paper. Do not worry about grammar and spelling
mistakes.
