2008-2010 Coordinating Officer in Charge, The Military College of South Carolina and Company/Battalion Tactical Officer

Serve as the off-duty representative of the Commandant with the Corps of Cadets by supervising five Officers in Charge as well as the Cadet's guard force- promoted to Company Tactical Officer in 2009. Coach, train, mentor 450 cadets with informal and formal instruction.

2004-2008 Operations and Policy Action Officer, Department of Army, Office of the Chief of Chaplains

Served as current/future operations officer for the Army Chaplaincy synchronizing theatre requirements with strategic resources. Routinely prepared briefings to the Under Secretary of the Army, House and Senate Armed Services Committees, and Office of the Under Secretary of Defense on Chaplaincy strategic

policies as well as operational war issues. Integrated US foreign policy with the Chief of Chaplain’s strategic planning. Accomplishments include:

- Produced implementation plan for Chief of Chaplain’s strategic plan that resulted in effective, transparent, and horizontal decision-making for the senior leadership of the Army Chaplaincy.

- Created methodology for forecasting global chaplain/chaplain assistants’ wartime requirements which allowed for 100% mission accomplishment.

2001-2004 Small Group Leader/Chief of Officer Training, US Army Chaplain Center and School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina

Served as Small Group Leader for Chaplain Career Course 2001-2003 and then as Chief of Officer Training 2003-2004. As Chief of Officer Training, supervised 9 Chaplains (Majors) and 4 Chaplain Assistants to plan, prepare, and execute all Chaplain training. Planned, budgeted, and managed resources for the Officer Training Division. Accomplishments include:

- Taught Pastoral Counseling to both newly recruited chaplains and mid-career chaplains

- Created the Chaplaincy Religious Support Simulation Center by acquiring over $200,000 worth of digital enablers, writing the tactical scenarios, and conducting the first digital training for the Army Chaplaincy.

1998-2000 Brigade Chaplain, 4th Infantry Division, Ft Hood, TexasServed in first digital Brigade Combat Team in US Army with responsibility to

train 7 Unit Ministry Teams. Pioneered tactics, techniques, and procedures for tactical religious support in digital environment.

1995-1998 Family Life Chaplain, Ft Carson, ColoradoManaged the Family Life Center that provided support to over 3000 soldiers and

family members in Ft Carson area. - Conducted 30-40 hours/week of supervised individual/couple/family therapy- Provided Army Community Service & Social Work Services with expertise in

marriage/family therapy - Trained subordinate ministry teams in pastoral counseling through classroom

instruction and co-counseling.

1991-1993 Chaplain Observer-Controller, Combat Maneuver Training Center, Hohenfels, Germany

Selected by Department of Army to train and mentor battalion chaplains in a war-like setting. Created tactics, techniques, and procedures for the position as well as for the unit ministry teams being trained.

1986-1991 Battalion Chaplain, 46th Engineer Battalion and 4/12 Infantry Battalion, Ft Rucker, Alabama and Baumholder, Germany

Served as primary staff officer in charge of all religious support activities within a battalion that included programming events to support soldiers/family members, assessing unit morale/moral/ethical climate, and providing direct pastoral care.
