Inordertoachievepolioeradicationgoalandeffectivelymobilizethecommunity,createdemandsforpoliovaccinationandroutineimmunization.Microplanisveryimportantandcriticalsteptohavespecificcatchmentareaforcommunitysocialmobilizersandvaccinationteamswithcleardemarcationandboundaries.Dailymobilitywithidentificationoffirstandlasthouseofdaytobevisitedforthepurposeofsocialmobilization/IPCandvaccination

Tohaveastandardmicroplanforallcommunitymobilizersandvaccinationteams,thereisneedforSOPstoguidetheDSMCinmicroplanningprocessexercise.Themicroplanningprocessdescribedasbelow:

Step1–DistrictOverAllPlan:-

o DSMCtoconductcoordinationmeetingwithpartners(WHOandNGOs),havetoplanliaisonmeetingswithdifferentdepartmentlikeEducation,Justiceetc.forstrengtheningmobilizationactivityatthedistrictlevel.

o Collectteam’smicroplanfromWHOfieldofficersDPOtoaddcommunicationpartinthemicroplanInsynchronizationwithVaccinationteammovementPlan

o SharestandardformatofmicroplanInadditiontothiswealsohavetospecifythereportingprocessesofthecampaign

o DSMC’shavetocompileprofileofCommunityMobilizers,MovementPlanofMountedVehicleMegaphone,properplanforI.E.C.display,andhavetomapoutallthepresentnomadic/migrants/mobilepopulationinthedistrict.

o AttheendofcompletionofthemobilizationactivityDSMC’shavetocompilethereportonthestandardformatsandshareitwiththeteam.

o Coordination:-atthedistrictlevelcoordinationwiththeDPOandMoHwillbeonhighpriority.
