Jesse and Kelly were married on August 30, 2014 at Saratoga Resort and Spa, with photos taken at the gorgeous Medicine Bow Peak. They felt that their “Wyoming Destination Wedding” was the perfect way to share one of their favorite places with family and friends. Kelly tells us their favorites during the day was the quite moments spent together at Medicine Bow Peak, their personalized ceremony, written and preformed by their amazing friend Ben, and showing off the West Coast Swing they learned for the first dance, which was

Wyoming Finds Thank You Notes
Rocky Mountain Bride Wyoming12 rockymountainbride.com
5 tips for writing wedding thank you notes
After the wedding, brides and grooms are always so grateful for all of the love and gifts given, and to show your appreciation, send the perfect thank you note. Use these five tips to make writing your thank you notes a breeze!
Preparation is key! Create a wedding guest list that includes not only the invited guests contact
information, but what gift they gave you as well. This
allows for easy recall!
Categorize your thank you list into manageable piles: your family, his family, and friends. Small stacks are
much more practical and less daunting. Also, start
with the hardest and most important notes first so they are out of the way!
Create an enjoyable workspace for writing your thank you notes. Sip on your favorite
tea and have music in the background - you’ll breeze right through
each letter!
Don’t procrastinate! The rule of thumb is: for gifts received pre-wedding, a
thank you note should be sent within a month; for post-wedding gifts, three
months.
Choose a thank you note that reflects your
wedding theme, like this one designed by Card Amour out of Chey-
enne. We love how the style is simple and sweet and can compliment an array of wedding styles.

Jessica & Mark Laramie
8.30.2014
Real Wedding
Jessica, a self-proclaimed Wyoming girl, and Mark, a boy from Ohio, whose parents always joked would become a rodeo clown and would move to Wyoming, were married
on a gorgeous August day ten years after they met. Jessica was the first person Mark
met from Wyoming--how fitting is it that she was meant to be his wife? The two cele-
brated their love in their own unique style with friends and family at the Laramie Train Depot. With finger-lickin’ good BBQ, the all night dance party, and wonderful memories made, Jessica and Mark’s wedding perfect!
Rocky Mountain Bride Wyoming20 rockymountainbride.com
The Theme: Jessica is a Wyoming girl at heart, so of course she wanted her wedding to reflect her western roots! Their wedding theme was western chic with a color palette of various gray and gold hues.
The Flowers: Jessica and Mark had their ceremony at Moen Ranch. Mark and Cathy Moen are longtime family friends of Jessica’s family. The Ranch is located along the OverlandTrail and was homesteaded in 1874 by Mark’s relatives who came from Norway. Mark’s grandparents bought the ranch in1903 and began raising Hereford cattle. Jessica wanted the beauty of the land to be seen in her ceremony, so she opted out of flowers! Her sister, Robin, created the bouquet out of brooches that were collected from family, friends, flea markets, and an-tique stores. Robin also attached a photo of their mother, Lori, on the bouquet since she wasn’t able to be at the wedding. It was a very special detail to Jessica! For the decor at the reception, Jessica chose an eclectic mix of vintage props, western decor, and flowers to create her western chic theme.
The Dress: After a custom dress gone wrong incident, Jessica ended up at Mariel Boutique in Colorado, where she found two amazing dresses! She wore one at the wedding and the other was her party dress. They were both amazing and really showed off her spicy sense of style.
The FavoriTe DeTail: Mark’s favorite detail was the location of the ceremony and Jessica’s favorite detail was the bouquet...although it is hard to pick just one since every detail of the day was very special. Jessica wanted her wedding to feel like it was happening “at your grandmother’s house” and hand-picked every item to ensure it. The couple also loved that a close friend, Melanie Stachelski, was able to officiate. “She wrote the absolute most impressive, sincere, funny, sweet ceremony and told some of the best stories from our relationship and 10 years together.”
Rocky Mountain Bride Wyoming rockymountainbride.com 21
The recepTion: The location of the reception also had history. Jessica’s father, Steve, retired from Union Pacific Railroad this past summer after 35 years of service. It was very important for Mark and Jessica to host their wedding events at places so special to their story.
The FooD: Guests enjoyed smoked pork and buffalo from a local buffalo rancher and friend of the bride’s fam-ily. Another family friend catered, and even brought his smoker to The Depot so guests could experience his amazing BBQ! It was served with traditional fixings, including banana cream pie and a variety of homemade BBQ sauces.
mr. anD mrs. momenT: After the ceremony, Jessica and Mark celebrated their marriage with a very old bottle of Dom Pérignon that Mark’s Aunt Carol had been saving for him to have on his wedding day. “Low and behold, the champagne was AWFUL, but the photos that came from toasting with it are absolutely hysterical.”
aDvice For rmB BriDes: “Oh geez, I feel so strong- ly about this: Plan your wedding for your husband and yourself. If you plan a celebration that you would want to attend, then it will be great! We had so many fun nights with my sisters and my dad brainstorming and daydream-ing up all the details that made the whole day full of tidbits and surprises. So many of them occurred when we were all just having fun, and not being stressed and crazy.”

Audrey & Chris Centennial
7.20.2014
Real Wedding
Audrey and Chris were high school sweet-hearts who dated for ten years before he asked her to marry him. Chris asked with the same ring he bought her at the age of 17 when Audrey stole his heart and he
knew she was the one. Talk about true love! The two decided to plan a fabulous picnic wedding in Centennial. Audrey works with Sweets Cakes & Pastry in Laramie and sees lots of gorgeous weddings, so she knew she
wanted her wedding to reflect her and Chris, not current trends. Their wedding was the perfect blend of charm, natural beauty, and
love!
The Theme: Audrey works in the wedding industry, so she had a lot of time to think about her special day. She described her theme as “mountain charm simple,” with all the natural beauty we could have wished for.” She chose a color palette of blush, peach, mint, emerald, nude, gold, and sequins wherever possible.
The Dress: Audrey tells us that her dress was “simply perfect, and it was perfect for our theme and overall feel of the day.” She bought a short dress, but decided she would feel much more romantic in a long gown. Her boho white and sequined gown was fate, which she found and bought on an online final sale on a whim. She fell in love with it immediately, and it fit perfectly!
The Flowers: Audrey had a romantic bouquet filled with peonies (her favorite flower), which she accented with ranunculus in her colors and hanging greenery. She also chose to have a floral crown that complemented her gorgeous bouquet. The crown was inspired by the quote, “ I would rather have flowers in my hair than diamonds on my neck.”
The FavoriTe DeTail: Audrey loved the arch Chris built for thier wedding day! She created the gold and glittered “arily” sign which was accented by floral arrangements that the bridesmaids placed on the arch. The word “arily” has special meaning to Audrey and Chris; when they were dating in high school, they would tell each other “arily” which stands for “always remember I love you.” To this day, it holds near and dear to their hearts!
The sweeTs: When you work for the fabulous Sweets Cakes & Pastry, cake is a must! Audrey and Chris chose a s’mores cake with a graham cracker flavored cake, chocolate ganache, and marshmallow fluff!
The FooD: The couple wanted their reception to be a picnic in the meadow where they got married, so guests enjoyed a July picnic feast of watermelon, cantaloupe, chips, and BBQ beef sandwiches.
mr. anD mrs. momenT: Audrey tells us that after they were an-nounced as husband and wife, they got on a horse to take a ride into the woods together! Audrey tells us, “she was terrified, as she had not been on a horse for awhile, but it was still so exciting and romantic.”
aDvice For rmB BriDes: “When you are planning your wed-ding, sit down and talk about what both of you want. It’s YOUR day, there is never going to be another one like it—so make it about your love and what you both want.”

How to get the perfect essie manicure
1. Hydrate with Essie’s Apricot Cuticle Oil2. Remove old nail polish and file nails
*Essie tip: always file nails in one direction to a smooth and clean shape. Filing back and forth can cause splitting.Try to match the cuticle shape.
3. Prep nails with an Essie base coat or treatment 4. Apply two coats of color
5. Seal + shine with an Essie top coat
How to maintain your manicure
Use a top coat every 2-3 days to protect the polish color and try to avoid using harsh chemicals, like certain
household cleaning products, which strip the nail polish and cause chipping. Massage Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil into cuticles daily to help keep them soft and moisturized.
How to fix smudges, chips, etc?
Quickly dab the tiniest drop of nail polish remover over the smudge using the tip of another finger. The remover
thins out the surrounding polish to help cover the smudge. Wait one minute, and then reapply with a thin layer of color.
Let dry, then finish with your favorite top coat.
How do i keep my nails from chipping?
A base coat suited to your nail type helps polish to adhere. Alternatively, try waiting longer in between applications so the polish can set. Reduce the frequency of chipping by wearing
gloves when doing chores and avoid using nails as tools.
Bride advice from Essie!
The big day is not about wearing what’s on trend. It’s about what’s right for you. Wear what you like – find the color that
makes you feel radiant and beautiful. Go with your heart.
No matter what your style is, essie has the perfect color for you! we chose our favorite shades for your
weddiNg day!
The Classic Bride For the bride who likes to keep it simple and classic with natural colors, Essie’s “Allure” color will complement everything on your wedding
day!
The Romantic Bride We think all brides are pretty in pink! We love the “Adore-a-Ball” color from Essie -- the blush
tones will pair great with your dream little white dress.
The Modern Bride For the bride who isn’t afraid to go bold, Pantone’s
color of 2015 is “Marsala.” This rich hue works wonders in weddings, and we thought Essie’s “In Stitches” captured the color of the year perfectly!

until after college when mutual friends introduced them. After a couple of dates, they knew it was forever. Zach proposed at Ashley’s grandparent’s home in Big Horn, which was a special moment to share. Their wedding
day was perfection, filled with love, laughter, and memo-ries that will last a lifetime.
The Theme: Ashley tells us, “as a wedding planner, I’ve seen so many different wedding themes!” She wanted her wedding to be classic elegance. She chose a palette of white, gold, and pale pink.
The Dress: “I knew I wanted the ultimate ‘princess’ dress. I had picked out my dream dress online, and I was so excited to try it on! After trying a few dresses, they finally put me in my pick. I was shocked that I didn’t love it on me! I started to panic a little bit, thinking there was no way I would find ‘the dress’ in such a short period of time (we had a four-month engagement!). Luckily, the gals at Belle en Blanc knew what they were doing; they put me in a different dress by the same designer, and I knew it was my dress! It was simple, yet so classic – just what I was looking for! It had LOTS of tulle and just a touch of sparkle. Fit for a princess!”
The Flowers: Ashley chose white flowers with just a touch of pink to make the arrangements more interesting. Since peonies were out of season, she chose garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, white orchids, dahlias, freesia, and lisianthus to create her elegant look.
The FavoriTe DeTail: “My favorite wedding details were my some-thing old and something borrowed. Both of my grandfathers have passed away, my maternal grandfather just a few weeks before our wedding. For my ‘something old’, I wore diamond earrings made from my paternal grandfather’s wedding band. For my ‘something borrowed,’, I carried one of my maternal grandfather’s bolo ties with my bouquet. It was so special that I got to have a part of each of them with me.”
Rocky Mountain Bride Wyoming40 rockymountainbride.com
The sweeTs: Ashley and Zach’s five-tier cake, designed by Cakes by Rusty, was a stunner! Guests enjoyed lemon, white, and chocolate cake, along with a candy bar!
The FooD: The couple chose to keep the food simple, but tasty! Guests enjoyed beef brisket, along with summer salads, from Catering with Class.
aDvice For rmB BriDes: “ Being a wedding planner, I know how much work goes into setting up, decorating, and coordinating a wedding. I couldn’t imagine worrying about trying to get everything done the day of my wedding and still being able to enjoy myself. I knew that the ONE thing I wanted to do for myself was to hire a day-of wedding coordinator! I did all of the planning and styling of the wedding myself, but I entrusted the day of set-up and coordination to Rachel from Embellish Productions. I truly could not have done it without her! So, my advice to Rocky Mountain brides is to HIRE A WEDDING COORDINATOR! I promise you it is the best thing you could possibly do for yourself and your family. Even wedding coordinators need help from their friends!”

Amy & Kelly Yellowstone
10.3.14
Real Wedding
Amy and Kelly met briefly in 2007 when Amy was home from New York to visit her family in Texas. Their paths didn’t cross until 2013 when friends were visiting Amy in Dallas, and Kelly
came along - the rest was history! On a trip to wine country to visit Kelly’s family, he popped the question! The two wanted to plan an inti-
mate ceremony that was focused on their love of nature. They couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to say “I Do” than Yellowstone
National Park!
The Theme: Being avid hikers and nature lovers, Amy and Kelly knew they wanted to get married in a national park, so they decided on our country’s first--Yellowstone! Their main goal was to keep the wedding simple and small, focusing on their love and the beauty that was surrounding them. Their color palette was the backdrop Mother Nature provided!
The Dress: Amy tells us that as soon as she saw the “Arabella” gown from BHLDN, “it was love at first sight.” It was the only wedding dress she tried on! She tells us that once she ordered it, she kept it a secret because she wanted to make sure the dress she chose reflected her style, and not be swayed by others opinions. Once it arrived, she lovingly kicked Kelly out of the apartment, put it on, and then confirmed it was the one.
The Flowers: Amy only had one requirement for her bouquet: there had to be sunflowers! She wanted a
“wildflower” look that incorporated her favorite bloom, and Briar Rose did a great job making her vision a reality. To honor her Grandmother Norma Craig, who passed away a couple of weeks before the wedding, she had two ladybug earrings placed in the bouquet. Amy tells us it was
“the perfect way to incorporate her being there with me.”

The FavoriTe DeTail: One of Amy’s favorite details was the way the sunlight was re-flected off of the stream running by in the background of their ceremony - so beautiful!
mr. anD mrs. momenT: “After the ceremony, we walked down to the bottom of the waterfall and stood in awe. Our wedding was somewhere neither of us had ever been before until we walked up and the ceremony began. It was crowning to be able to stand in such a beautiful place, with the sun shining down, and thinking ‘this is real.’”
aDvice For rmB BriDes: “Do not be afraid to break away from tradition. We want-ed to do something different, and at times, it was challenging because everybody has an opinion, but it was so worth it. At the end and beginning of everyday, it is your spouse next to you and theirs is the opinion that matters the most. Do what makes the two of you happy. It can never just be about what one person wants.”

Camille & Casey Jackson
8.24.13
Real Wedding
Camille and Casey met at an Irish Pub on St. Patrick’s Day. Camille was out visiting her brother, who was in his surgical residency in Detroit. Casey, a trauma surgeon, was
the attending physician for him. Camille and Casey started to date, and the rest was
history! Casey proposed to Camille while at a private dinner he arranged at Amangani, complete with a custom chocolate dessert to hold the ring! The two decided to have
a mountain wedding in Jackson, where Camille grew up. From the gourmet food,
to the breathtaking views, and to the bride’s gorgeous gown, Camille and Casey had an
idyllic wedding day!
The Theme: Camille and Casey chose to have an elegant mountain wedding theme. Camille tells us that “It was a natural choice consid-ering the area and my upbringing in Jackson. We used the Tetons in our invites and my father’s collection of antlers in the décor.” They used a color palette of ivory, pale pink, and peach.
The Flowers: Camille chose soft, textured florals in colors that matched her mountain-themed wedding.
The Dress: Camille described her Lazaro stunner as “besides gor-geous? It has a lace, drop-waist bodice with a BIG multi-layer skirt. It is a little bit elegant, sweet, and sexy all in one gown!”
The FavoriTe DeTail: “So many fabulous details! All the serving ware is my mother’s china and crystal; my dad built a huge antler cen-terpiece for the buffet table; my brother built a barn wood table for our guest book. Maybe my favorite detail, though, was that we had a beautiful team of Blue Rhone Quarter Horses pulling a wagon that brought the mothers, then the bridesmaids and flower girls, and then my dad and me into the ceremony site.”
The sweeTs: Guests enjoyed a four-tier hazelnut cake (Camille’s mother worked on the recipe) with vanilla buttercream and a crispy, French hazelnut spread. Camille discovered the spread in a Chicago bakery, and she begged them to pass along the recipe so she could re-create it for their wedding.
Rocky Mountain Bride Wyoming50 rockymountainbride.com
The FooD: “This is my other favorite part. My amaz- ing caterer and I put together a very unique menu. My family has a restaurant, where I am also the consulting chef, so food was VERY impor tant. Our caterer made little pizzas from his wood-burning oven (that’s built into a horse trailer) for hors d’oeuvres. Being Italian, we had to have an entire wheel of Parmigiano Reg-giano out on a table near the bar for people to enjoy, just like they do at weddings in Italy. We had a spread of anti-pasti waiting on the tables when guests were seated, which included Italian salumi and cheeses with roasted tomatoes, olives, zucchini scapece, and some amazing bread that the bakery made just for us. Din-ner service included my mother’s meatballs (the best!), braised buffalo short ribs, quinoa and green chickpea salad, watermelon and shaved summer squash salad, among other things. It was amazing.”
aDvice For rmB BriDes: “Describe your vision as clearly as possible to your vendors. Don’t assume they automatically see your vision as you do. Get a list from you photographer of the family photos they intend to shoot so that you can make sure you have what you want. And don’t forget to look at your loved ones after you say your I dos before heading back down the aisle.”
Three worDs: Western, Elegant, Natural
The honeymoon: The newlyweds jetted to the South Pacific, where they visited : Bangkok, Siam Reip (Cambodia), and the Maldives, which Camille said was heaven!

The Wyoming countryside, two lovebirds, and a party complete with goats, chickens, a shetland pony and a pot-belly pig - what could be better? We love the idea of a farm wedding and decided that the Tetons would be the
perfect place to host this delightful affair. The look drew inspiration from the colors and farm animals located on at the Lodge. The pot-bellied pig shaped the theme of farm-to-table, the pony was the ideal flower candidate, and the goats were included because they were just too adorable to leave out! Tell us about your cake philosophy - What inspires you?
From the start, my goal has been to create products made entirely from scratch, with whole, fresh ingredients, and love. I believe working in food is an artistic expression, just as paint or pottery, fashion or writing, cosmetology or architecture. Every baker or chef has his or her own style, just as any other artist does. For me, I love organic movement and lines, colors, and shapes. I love contrasting textures. I love fresh fruits and flowers. I love classic pastries: maca- roons, eclairs, dacquoise, tartlets and such. I love desserts that trigger memories: classic chocolate chip cookies, creamy chocolate mousse, birthday cake, and apple pie.
I draw inspiration from anything and everything: nature, fashion, graphic design, art, food – savory, sweet, cocktails, fruits, vegetables, whatever – seasons, moods, so many random things. Sometimes I see a page in a magazine, or a cute sweater, or I hear someone talk fondly about how much they love a certain treat from their childhood, and it makes the wheels start spinning, and I pull ideas together.
What makes Sweets so special?Ultimately, I can’t say that Sweets is specifically one way or another, as much as I can say that Sweets is determined to simply be special. I don’t want to make a carbon copy of a cake you saw on Pinterest. There are so many insanely talented cake artists and pastry chefs out there, and I respect their work; I don’t want to copy it. I want to get to know a couple, develop a relationship with their design, and create something just for them. Maybe their guests only see it as the cake in the back of the room, or a little slice of cake on a plate that signals the end of the evening is coming. To me, it is an expression and a labor of love.
What fabulous things are on the hori-zon for Sweets? As for up and coming, we are always thinking of new things. We would love to stick our hands in so many different pieces of the industry. Who is to say what is next? We have discussed decorating classes, e-courses – particularly on baking at altitude -- rentals, possibly cake accessories (toppers, servers, stands, etc.). We recently began offering styling services for dessert tables, meaning we will do the leg work on making a table look special with linens, stands, menus, statement pieces and such. We are always working on part-nerships; we focus a lot of our attention on working with other folks in this industry and outside of the wedding world. Wyoming is a state of small towns, and we want to work with everyone we can and lift one another up.
Besides that, we are just gearing up for the wedding season. We are all over the state this summer (and in Colorado), and we couldn’t be more excited.
Bake!Sweet’s New Adventure
When you’re in the business of love stories, you find yourself wanting to keep each one alive. That’s why
Jessica and Sweets Marketing Director, Audrey Jansen, created The BAKE Creative: an outlet for
the inspiration they find in the love stories they get to be a part of at Sweets.
“Bake is just two Wyoming gals with a love for words, design, mountain living, adventure, and
all pretty things.”

Rocky Mountain Bride Wyoming82 rockymountainbride.com
The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is located northwest of Tucson, Arizona, in the scenic town of Marana. Nestled in the high So-noran Desert in the foothills of the Tortolita Mountains, the resort features a destination spa, adventure programing, world-class hiking, adjacent to Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf, and richly-appointed guest accommodations in a striking canyon setting. This picturesque re-treat is the place where adventure and a gracious spirit of hospitali-ty comes to life for your perfect honeymoon escape.
Inspired by the richness and beauty of its lush desert surroundings, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain provides panoramic views as it creates a luxurious, yet authentic, desert experience. The geologic make-up of the Tortolita Mountains served as inspiration for the architecture, with a variety of natural materials used to emphasize the structure’s connection to the high desert landscape. Stone and metal are two elements key to the design with intricate steps taken to preserve the materials as closely as possible to their natural state. This celebration of Arizona’s geology continues with an interi-or design that showcases natural quartzite floors, raw steel fixtures, copper accents, and historical artifacts, such as geodes and quartz crystal. The many natural elements at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, are complemented by luxurious service in a relaxed and casual setting, create an authentic Arizona experience, for which the Tucson area is known for, and is ideal for honeymooners.
In this refined desert oasis, guest facilities reflect the local landscape and culture, featuring natural elements of dark mesquite woods, richly-hued fabrics, light stones and a taste of Southwestern flair. All rooms offer views of nearby mountain ranges, the Tortolita Foothills, and Wild Burro Canyon. Some of the many fabulous guest room amenities include feather beds with down duvets, 400-thread count linens by Frette, separate shower and marble bathtub, high-speed wireless Internet access (included in resort fee), and 24-hour in room dining.
Guests can enjoy true Southwestern desert experiences with more than 20 miles of hiking and biking trails winding through spectacular mountain terrain. The resort features twelve fire bowls and nine fire pits which provide a unique setting to take in a picturesque desert mountain sunrise or sunset. Unlimited recreational oppor-tunities include authentic old west cattle penning, horseback riding, tennis, golf, stargazing, swimming, flora and fauna adventures, and a 235-ft water slide along with children’s programs led by the Dove Mountain Rangers.
RMB sent a honeymoon couple out to The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain to experience what makes it the best. Karen and Doug Schafer spent a weekend at Dove Mountain and raved about how memorable their trip was, and about the special team members who went out of their way to make sure they were taken care of.
Karen tells us that“the Concierges at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Moun-tain will make sure your honeymoon is perfection. TJ Hill is fabulous! From running out to purchase socks that forgot to make the trip, to stocking our room with candy that I was craving, she made sure that our honeymoon was divine. The Spa The spa experience is designed around the balancing ele-ments of air, fire, earth, and water, honoring the indigenous outdoor Sonoran lifestyle. Guests can choose from a selec-tion of treatments reflecting natural, peaceful surroundings, including wellness counseling, body and anti-aging therapies. For honeymooners, we recommend the Desert Gemstone Ritual for Two, which is even better when shared. Enjoy of a cup of tea together during a calming foot soak, followed by a relaxing bath. This treatment concludes with a Togeth-er Massage using the healing qualities of the gemstones, deepening your sense of relaxation and strengthening your bond. Marysell Diaz-Garcia, Spa Director, will make sure that any treatment or service you choose will be the best spa experience ever!
The Dining Experience The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain offers guests multiple dining choices to enjoy. Options range from the hotel’s signature restaurant, CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar serving contemporary American cuisine, and Ignite Lounge & Bar, an innovative gastro-pub, to the poolside Turquesa Latin Grill and Cayton’s CB2 Burger Bistro at The Golf Club at Dove Moun-tain, presenting American comfort food with a Southwestern flair. Each outlet boasts a menu featuring tempting culinary options that highlight sustainable, regional, and organic cuisines to complement the overall guest dining experience.
Our honeymoon couple raved about CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar. This stunning new restaurant has a contemporary design inspired by the vibrant colors of the earth. CORE features six dining options, a menu focused on regional sustainable cuisine and local growers. The citrus grove directly adjoining CORE offers the freshest of Arizona oranges, Minneola tangelos, and red grapefruit.
Karen shares that “Lynette Ramirez was our sweet server every morn-ing at CORE. She knew exactly what we liked and went out of her way to make sure we had a memorable stay. She even sent a surprise snack to our cabana at the pool spa! Stephen Derrick was the wonder-ful bartender at CORE. He entertained us every evening - we highly recommend him!”

STaymoon The Bentwood Inn
The Bentwood Inn is centrally located near everything you will want to do during your Jackson Hole staymoon. The Inn is just six miles from the world-famous Jackson Hole Ski Area at Teton Village and the south entrance to Grand Teton National Park; this prox-imity is perfect for the couple looking to explore the Tetons during their Wyoming staymoon!
The Bentwood Inn, built in 1995, was constructed using massive 200-year-old logs brought in from Yellowstone National Park after the great fire of 1988. There are approximately 6,000 square feet of luxurious space, including five bedrooms. The craftsmanship is remarkable throughout. The three-acre property has large decks for relaxing and socializing in warm weather. The majestic old growth cottonwoods and pines offer privacy and solitude year round. Upon arrival, rose petals and chocolate-covered strawberries will be waiting in your room. For those wanting a romantic vacation, the staff at The Bentwood Inn will do anything they can to make your stay truly special!
Start your day off at The Bentwood Inn with their famous Bentwood Breakfast! Chef Bob Schrader prepares a gourmet breakfast each morn-ing using locally sourced and organic ingredients. Try their locally roasted and organic coffee, followed by one of the many breakfast entrees like as Eggs Benedict, Praline French Toast, House-Cured Gravlax, or Apple Cinnamon Pancakes. Indulge in breakfast in bed! The Bentwood Inn will deliver your food right to your room - talk about service! If your adven-tures for the day start early, the chef at The Bentwood will provide you with a packed meal to-go.
Summertime in Jackson Hole offers endless outdoor activities: hiking in the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone National Park, horseback riding and covered wagon outings, canoeing, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, and kayaking on the winding Snake River. The innkeepers at The Bentwood Inn will help you plan any and all excursions during your stay!
After you return from a day in Jackson, enjoy nightly hors d’oeuvres served in the early evening every day! Choose from a selection of cheeses from near and far, along with fresh fruits and vegetables, and other special treats Chef Bob creates. Enjoy with a glass of wine, it’s the perfect way to relax together.
The Inn has also garnered a great reputation for playing host to events and weddings! Each wedding is treated with undivided attention; whether it is a group of two or two hundred, know that your day will be perfect at The Bentwood Inn.

Once renewed, experience everything Spring Creek has to offer for adventures. USA Today ranked the Ranch’s Wildlife and Natural History Safaris within the “Top 10 Wildlife Safa-ris” in North America! They boast floor-to-ceiling views of the Grand Tetons along with cuisine that Bon Appetit called “upscale mountain-man cooking.” The Granary has received the prestigious DiRoNA Award, Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator, and honor of Best Ho-tel Chefs of America series at The James Beard House. For a romantic night out, we suggest starting with the Elk Tips and Cheese Fondue, followed by the Roasted Butternut Squash Bisque. For the main course, indulge in the Painted Hills Angus Beef Filet Mignon or Skuna Bay Coho Salmon Filet - simply divine. Located in the National Museum of Wildlife Art, The Rising Sage Café is your spot for a quick lunch paired with Wy-oming-inspired art exhibits. Thank you noTes - wiThin 3 MonThs oF wedding
Best way to save on your dress? Buy your dream dress and
then donate it to an applicable charity and deduct it from your taxes - double check with the
IRS for the fine print
The secret to sticking to your budget? Figure out what mat-ters most to you and spend
accordingly, cut costs on areas that aren’t as important to you. Make it worth what you put
into it - Enjoy the day!
Make use of your miles - pay for your wedding with a card that gives you perks and use
them toward your honeymoon!
Don’t play the numbers game with your guests. Choose to have a smaller, more intimate wedding with those you love.
You’ll save some dough and get to have more time with your
favorite folks!
Use locals! Pick local talent to create your day. They know the area, won’t have excessive delivery charges, and can keep
you from last minute issues that cost time and money to
overcome.

It’s no secret that we love weddings in every season, but there’s something especially romantic about summer. Our favorite trends for 2015? Both neutral and unexpected color palettes are really catching our eye. We’re also loving skirts in lieu of wedding gowns and are thrilled that non traditional bridesmaid dresses are here to stay. Simple designs with an
artistic flair and lush greens add that perfect finishing touch to any style of Rocky Mountain wedding.
