Latest CADE Accreditation DecisionsPublished Online

The Commission on Accreditation forDietetics Education (CADE) is ADA’saccrediting agency for education pro-grams preparing students for careersas Registered Dietitians and DieteticTechnicians, Registered. CADE es-tablishes and enforces eligibility re-quirements and accreditation stan-dards that ensure the quality andcontinued improvement of nutritionand dietetics education programs.The accreditation decisions made atthe most recent CADE meeting areavailable at http://www.eatright.org/CADE/content.aspx?id�7829 and in-clude status of programs which havereceived candidacy for accreditation,full accreditation, probationary ac-creditation, and withdrawal fromaccreditation.

CADE Invites Program Accreditation Input

Accredited dietetics education pro-grams are periodically reviewed toensure they uphold the standards setforth by the Commission on Accredi-tation for Dietetics Education. Part ofthe program review process is theconsideration of third-party input ona program’s practices, procedures,and educational outcomes. Memberswith concern as to a program’s com-pliance with the standards are en-couraged to forward their comments
