“Maple Syrup Trail.” Nestled between Smiths Falls and Perth along the Rideau Canal System to the south, and Mississippi Lake and River to the north, we offer beautiful rolling countryside, stunning waterfront vistas and thriving businesses located along main highway routes.
With a population of 7,800, the Township includes the hamlets of Port Elmsley, Balderson, Innisville, Wayside, Drummond Centre, Ferguson’s Falls and Rideau Ferry. The southern portion of the municipality features lakes, rivers and mixed forests while the more western and northern areas feature rolling hills and fertile farmland.
