PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

UNILEVER US, Trumbull, CT 2004 – 2008 Data Architect Designed logical and physical models for Oracle and SQL Server databases. Administrator for CA Allfusion Erwin Data Modeler, including license management, installs, upgrades, problem resolution, templates, domains, name abbreviations. Performed interface mapping for major project initiatives. Member of Unilever Global Data Modelers Group 2004–2006. Administrator Kalido 8 for installing and maintaining Master Reference Data Repository.

Developed high-level context diagrams of interfaces between enterprise systems. The Information Technology business teams used these diagrams to get a better understanding of major data flows These diagrams were also used as a reference in the outsourcing of the data center.

Led a pilot project to build a Metadata Repository using Info Librarian. A significant lessoned learned was, to build a metadata data repository will take many more resources than was expected.

Reverse engineered SAP/R3 and SAP BW data dictionaries into Erwin models using Erwin Saphir from Computer Associates to use for reference and potential use in a metadata repository

Collaborated with European team to develop an Enterprise Data Architecture for the Personal Products Coordination of Unilever. This involved face-to-face meetings with the other data architects and business leaders from the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy and the United States.
