coatings contain highly

effective components (no

graphite), which create and

maintain an optimum

coefficient-of-friction between

two contacting metal surfaces.

dMT – SPC Dry Metal Protective Coatings

• Substantial reduction of wear (metal flaking) = increased operating

lives of wheels / rails, generally 3-5 times longer minimum. Proven

wear reduction up to nearly 80%;

• Continual, balanced coating (conditioning) of the metal surfaces to

achieve a permanent, optimal coefficient of friction;

• Dry coating – does not absorb dust particles, excellent bonding to

metal surfaces, weather-resistent, temperature resistent up to

310 deg. C;

• No negative influence on the operation of the machinery, no major

alterations necessary for installation;

• Maintenance-free, except when replacement blocks to be inserted;

• Environmentally safe / does not endanger ground, water or air / not

toxic / not flammable or explosive / clean area near equipment as

coating does not drip or migrate and is neither a grease nor an oil.

8 gantry cranes (3 of which Super-post-Panamax)

First delivery in Feb. 2007, installed few months later on first crane. Goal was to reduce

wheel flange wear;

Second order came in July 2008 for a second and new crane, this time flangeless

wheels with horizontal guide rollers.

Obviously the customer is satisfied with our products or would not have ordered again for another

crane after one year of initial testing. Contact with him in English OK.
