Fast FactsSila-e is one of the 46 barangays of Malaybalay City. It can be reached by a four-wheel drive but preferably by a motorcycle locally known as “habal-habal” for two hours or so.

It is predominantly inhabited by the natives of Bukidnon called Higa-onon and Bukidnon.

Most people are elementary graduates or have not been into formal education at all.

Sila-e Alternative Learning Center (SALC)Its main objectives are: first, to provide a venue for all natives, young and old who wish to learn the basics of counting, reading and speaking; and second, to extend assistance services on how they could promote and preserve their cultural heritage including their customs and traditions.
