What: High school students in the Washington area can apply for a weeklong online journalism work-shop at The Washington Post’s online newsroom. Participants will gain experience in digital storytell-ing, from researching and reporting to gathering and editing photos, audio and video.
Eligibility: Rising juniors and seniors at D.C. area high schools, and graduating seniors.
When: Orientation is Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009Workshop runs Mon-Fri, Aug. 10 - 14, 2009
Deadline: Completed applications must be received by Friday, May 1, 2009. Participants will be informed of their selection by Friday, May 8.
