Diffusion Movement of particles from an area of high concentration to an area of lower concentration
Osmosis Movement of water from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration

Endocytosis enclosing a large particle and transporting it into the cell
Exocytosis releasing an encased particle through the cell membrane
