Create your very own scarecrow, build a bird feeder or make a fall floral arrangement to take home with you. Follow the Sunflower Trail, enjoy hot chocolate and baked apples by the Grebe Water. Book your craft supplies early for this popular family event!

September 18: An Edible Garden Event Fruit Growers Festival Sample the abundance of fruits that can be grown right here in a Zone 3 garden! Experts from the Fruit Growers Association will be on hand to answer all your

questions about fruit-growing in Alberta. Free with regular admission.

September 23-25: DBG Crafters Fall Sale Dried flower arrangements, potpourri, skin care

products, soaps, pressed flowers, candles and other handmade crafts, many created from the bounty of the garden. Proceeds support projects and programs at the DBG.

November 25-27: Crafters Christmas Sale This is the place to go for beautiful handmade wreaths, swags, table centerpieces, ornaments, and handmade gift items.

December 10-11: Luminaria Thousands of candles light the paths of the Kurimoto Japanese Garden in a breathtaking display – a quiet oasis of peace and light. Hot apple cider, strolling singers and snow sprites make this a festive family event not to be missed – one of our most popular annual events at the Garden!
