This course offers the opportunity for those currently engaged in direct work with children or young people to discuss aspects of that work in a weekly seminar led by a senior child psychotherapist.

Participants are expected to bring detailed descriptions of their interactions with the young people so that they can be thought about in a way which helps to reveal the underlying meaning of these communications.

Participants will also be encouraged to think about what these interactions stir up in themselves. The aim of the course is to develop and enhance psychoanalytic under-standing of the emotional growth and behaviour of children and adolescents.

who it is forThis course is open to people who are working directly with children or young people who want to enhance their practice, using a psychoanalytic perspective
