About the 2014 WA Agribusiness & Regional Crop UpdatesThe Grain Industry Association of Western Australia (GIWA) is once again proudly co-ordinating Crop Updates on behalf of the Grain Research Development Corporation (GRDC) and the Department of Agriculture and Food of Western Australia (DAFWA).

The dates and venue for the WA Agribusiness Crop Updates have been confirmed! The Agribusiness Crop Updates will be held from the 24th – 25th February, 2014 at Crown Perth.

The two day Agribusiness Crop Updates will showcase a wide range of speakers presenting on the latest research, technology and management issues influencing the WA grains industry. Last year over 400 leading consultants, bankers, agronomists, advisers and growers attended the Agribusiness Crop Updates. The feedback from the event last year was extremely valuable and we have plans to make the event even better in 2014!

The dates and locations for the Regional Crop Updates are currently being negotiated but are expected to be held throughout March 2014.

Sponsorship packages are available ranging from exhibitor through to Platinum sponsorship. Platinum sponsorship includes the prestigious two day Agribusiness Crop Updates in Perth and all the Regional Crop Updates!

Terms & Conditions GIWA will take the upmost care to fulfil all the listed benefits.

The following Terms and Conditions apply to ALL Sponsorship Packages:

• Confirmation of sponsorship is not final until receipt of the Sponsorship Confirmation Form has been received.

• Payments of sponsorship monies are required at the time of your booking. Entitlements may not be fulfilled if full payment has not been received.

• Naming rights for selected parts of the Crop Updates program (as per Premium sponsorship package) will only be guaranteed once full payment has been received by the Crop Updates Convenor

• Satchel inserts must be provided to the organiser by 30th January, 2014. Satchel inserts may be either one promotional flyer (no larger than A4) or one promotional item as per prior agreement with the Crop Updates Convenor.

• The sponsor is responsible for any display banners supplied and erected at the venue and must confirm with the Crop Updates Convenor prior to the event.

• Inclusions in the Crop Updates printed material may be forfeited if sponsorship is not confirmed and payment received prior to the printing deadlines.

• Sponsors are responsible for the security of their own equipment and materials whilst at the Crop Updates.

• Exhibitors at the Agribusiness Crop Updates will be allocated on a first come first served basis

• Sponsorship will be accepted on payment subject to availability and confirmation of acceptance by 2014 Crop Updates Steering Committee

Cancellation PolicyIf the sponsorship package is cancelled and can be resold to another sponsor, the applicant will receive a full refund, less administrative fee of 20% of the total sponsorship rate. If not able to be resold, the company will be liable to pay the following fees:

• 50% of the total sponsorship fee, if the cancellation request is received in writing before 6th December, 2013.

• 100% of the total sponsorship fee, if the cancellation request is received in writing after the 3rd January, 2014.

Any refunds of deposits paid will be made after the event, but no later than the 31st March, 2014.
