CAMP DESCRIPTIONSThe Summer Technology Camp is designed for youth entering grades 2-12 with educational, creative, and recreational activities offered each day. Students are exposed to cutting-edge topics involving computers, science, math and technology. It’s a chance to work in small teams, unleash creativity, and develop critical thinking skills while having fun. The camp will operate at either the Alcorn State University Lorman Campus or Vicksburg Campus from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day while in session. The cost is $100.00 per student, per camp. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.

Grades 2-12

Lorman Campus:June 17-21 & 24-28

Vicksburg Campus:July 15-19 & 22-26

This program is for youth entering grades 2-12. Students are exposed to Science, Computer Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. Students will explore handson activities including nuclear & radiation technology, GIS, robotics, digital communication, electronics, and computer technologies. They will, also, be involved in creative and recreational activities. The camp offers the students different opportunities to work in small teams, unleash creativity, and develop critical thinking skills while having fun.
