The Meditech History

• Customer for nearly 20 years • Oldest UK customer with Burton Hospital • Used almost every module that Meditech provides

– Prior to v6 – only 2 modules not used

Initial BridgeHead Engagement (Phase 1)

• Meditech v5.6 Scanning & Archiving Module – Collects data and images from Meditech estate – Fills up the primary storage

• Deployed File Archiving in October 2009 – Manage the growth of the primary storage – Archive the older “static” Meditech data to secondary storage

Meditech v6 (Phase 2)

• Decision to implement v6 • All Meditech modules • BridgeHead ISB/IDR deployed

– Ordered in December 2010, deployed through 2011 – Backup of all Meditech data across 2 sites with Data Centre switching – Disaster Recovery solution – 32TB File Archiving of Scanning & Archiving data – Archive the older “static” Meditech data to secondary storage

Unified Clinical Archiving (UCA) Pilot (Phase 3)

• UCA launched by Dell • BridgeHead selected as solution partner • 5 pilots across EMEA, CHS selected as UK pilot • OIS Ophthalmology PACS (4TB DICOM, 2TB File) • 2 x Dell DX6000
