Projects

Commercial Transactions

Commercial Transactions is responsible for the evaluation, planning and delivery of property acquisitions and disposals on behalf of governmentagencies across a wide spectrum of projects and portfolios. This team undertakes transactions that benefit from economies of scale (volume or similarity), or exhibit shorter “go to market” timelines.

This team applies strong project management practices to move transactions through various phases, including pre-sale due diligence investigations, feasibility analysis, execution of value add strategies and implementation of marketing and sale strategies.

Major Projects

Major Projects is responsible for the strategic evaluation, management and delivery of large scale or complex real estate projects, including acquisitions and divestments, on behalf of the NSW Government.In executing its role, the team focuses on whole-of-government engagement and outcomes.

Its services include adaptive re-use and best-use site analysis, real estate advisory, acquisition and divestment management, and development management – such as project design, feasibility assessment, stakeholder consultation, rezoning, pre-leasing and project management.

Millers Point

Managing the sale of 293 government owned properties to fund 1,500 new social housing dwellings.

Huntingwood East

The sale of vacant land at Huntingwood East for $68m, for reinvestment in green space in Western Sydney.

Newcastle Courthouse

Former Newcastle Courthouse sold for reinvestment into a new $90m courthouse.

Stanhope Gardens

The sale of land at Stanhope Gardens for $31m, for reinvestment in Department of Education projects.

Heritage Sandstones

The adaptive reuse of the Lands and Education buildings in Bridge Street to deliver a luxury hotel.

Gosford revitalisation

A mixed use development, with Stage 1 catering for the relocation of 300+ NSW Government roles.

Western Sydney lease

Delivering 62,000m2 of A-Grade office space for 4,000+ public service roles in Western Sydney.

Macquarie Street East

Rejuvenating Macquarie Street in Sydney’s CBD to better showcase the precinct’s heritage.
