Deepika Padukone andRanveer Singh, the latest A-listBollywood stars to tie the knot,are making the ordeals ofthe Indian press anythingbut easy by keeping thingsprivate.

Though the much-lovedcouple declared their wed-ding dates on social media inOctober after months ofspeculation that Novembernuptials were to follow,Padukone and Singh havebeen guarded about thegrand affair, due to takeplace in Italy overWednesday and Thursday.

Unlike two ofBollywood's previous wed-dings - of Sonam Kapoorand Anushka Sharmarespectively, Padukone andSingh are not giving anyleeway to the media tobroadcast their love storyIRL or 'in real time'.

Twinning in white, theactors, who have workedtogether in "Ram Leela","Bajirao Mastani" and"Padmavati", were snappedleaving for Italy for the ceremonyon November 10.

They are reported to gethitched at Lake Como in anintimate destination weddingwith only 40 people, whichmay include Bollywood big-gies such as Shah Rukh Khan,Sanjay Leela Bhansali andFarah Khan.

With no definite details,media seems to be grasping atstraws. It is believed that thewedding will comprise of aKonkani rituals, followed by aPunjabi-Sindhi-style ceremonyThursday, honouring the tradi-tions of both families.

Even the mercurial platform ofsocial media appears to be of nohelp as the guests have been askednot to share any pictures andvideos of the ceremonies, drivingthe paparazzi into frenzy.

On November 10, Singh's

stylist Nitasha Gaurav teased thepre-wedding rituals on Twitter.

"No pictures but it was lovepersonified to see them togethertoday. Couldn't stop my tears, butthese were tears of happiness andso I hope they never do.#DeepVeerKiShaadi #ranveerk-ishaadi #foreverlove," she wroteon the microblogging site.

Singer Harshdeep Kaur, whoreportedly performed at the sangeetceremony Tuesday, had to take

down a picture from socialmedia, that showed her and herhusband standing near the pic-turesque lake. But the screen-shot of the now deleted photo isalready viral on social media.During the engagement cere-mony, which also reportedlytook place Tueday, Singh wentdown on his knees asking forPadukone's hand. After theyexchanged rings, he gave aspeech that made Padukoneemotional.

An intimate dinner washeld which was followed bya dance session, which wasjoined by the couple alongwith Singh's father JagjitSingh Bhavnani.

Reports say the bride wasin tears throughout the hennaceremony.

Earlier this month,Padukone's stylist ShaleenNathani alerted the socialmedia by sharing pre-wed-ding festivities of NandiPuja on Instagram."To new beginnings

@deepikapadukone," Nathaniwrote alongside the actor's pho-tograph, who was dressed in tra-ditional attire.

The same day Singh, alongwith close friend and castingdirector Shanoo Sharman, wasspotted from his balcony, at his'haldi' ceremony.

The couple, who never con-firmed their relationship until

recently, will have a reception eachin Bengaluru and Mumbai onNovember 21 and 28, respectively.

Going by Padukone's admis-sion on season six premiere of"Koffee With Karan", they have

been in dating each other for thepast six years.

After portmanteausBrangelina, Saifeena andVirushka went viral, fans of theduo are having a field day onsocial media with hashtags suchas #DeepVeerKiShaadi and#DeepVeer till the time theactors make things internet offi-cial.
