Why enter DWWA 2018
Panels of regional experts blind-taste DWWA wines in carefully organised flights by country, region, colour, grape, style, vintage and price.
Evaluate your wine against the competition
1 Regional Chairs oversee their panels and re-taste
wines when our experts disagree. They confirm all the medals and re-taste Silvers and Golds for consistency.
2 In the next stage, our four Co-chairs
re-taste all the Gold wines for final endorsement.
3 In the second week, all Golds compete for
Platinum and then Best in Show. There is no limit to the number of Platinum medals that can be awarded in each category.
