1) To identify the pattern of use of electronic cigarettes in the cityof Barcelona.
2) To describe the perception of risk and motivation for using the electronic cigarettes.
3) To analyze the influence of electronic cigarettes on the consumption of conventional tobacco according to the users' characteristics and their pattern of use.
4) To characterize the levels of propylene glycol and main metabolite (propylene glycolglucuronic) in urine and saliva of users of electronic cigarettes.
5) To compare the levels of nicotine, cotinine and carcinogens inurine and saliva of users of electronic cigarettes with a sampleof conventional tobacco smokers.

Methods
We will recruit a representative sample of adult (≥18 years old) e-cigarette users of the city of Barcelona (n=720)
We will follow them up 6 and 12 months after the recruitment
6.5% ever e-cigarettes users: 1.6% current users, 2.2% past users, and 2.7 experimentation with e-cigarettes
