Dear Sir, Ms.,

Dan and I worked together at my last architecture office in San Francisco. What I observed was his transformation from team member to project leader. Dan is organized, conscientious, honest and hard working. He s a roll-up-your-sleeves type of person who leads by doing - setting up computers, installing upgrades, or hanging lights for the Christmas party, which means he thinks like an owner to do whatever needs to be done.

He s a generalist so he can do almost anything you ask of him. He s an autodidact, which is invaluable to a smaller firm because he can adjust to and help weather changing conditions, or any size firm taking on new systems, software or company policies. He s intrapreneurial, so he ll be proactive in coming up with ways to make your firm work better.

Dan is a straight shooter - communicate with him transparently and with respect, you will get 100% commitment and effort in return. He s good natured. He s unpretentious, even while we worked daily for high-net worth individuals and families. You ll find he can get along with everyone.

In closing, I hope you find revealing that after Dan left our office, his 4 or 5 projects were reassigned to two associates and two junior staff. You will be more than happy to have Dan outperforming at your firm.

Regards
