Experimenting with color; observing how hue can vary depending on the context it is set in.

Color experimenting by applying different color schemes to the same pattern. Each
of the experiments to the right represent one color scheme; Triadic, complementary,
split complementary, analogous, warm, or cool schemes.
COLOR
Using a controlled experimentation space, I study the effect of varying the 3 dimen-
sions of color (hue, value and satruation) on the perception of space. By altering these
perameters, the width, height, or depth of the space can vary accordingly.
LIGHT.. and SPACE
54 55
The task here is to design a dwelling
space for myself, keeping in mind the
effect of color, light, and material on
its perception. The color scheme is
derived from an image I selected, from
which I calculate the percentage of
each hue, and choose the materials
coordingly. By using a combination
of cool and warm colors along with
a natural touch, I create this simple,
spacious space in which I personally
would love to dwell.
