Southeast Environmental Taskforce, Chicago, Il Independent Consultant, March 2009 – October 2009 Designed, conducted workshops, and assisted local community residents and organizations on plant identification of native plants and the effects of local ecology on plant growth. Advisor to community residents and organizations in garden design and plant identification. Service For Peace, Inc. Chicago, IL Coordinator, October 2008 – February 2009 Coordinated a successful major city-wide volunteer service learning activity Recruited and organized the largest number of volunteers, 1500, and 87 high schools and community organizations for the Service For Peace in the history of its Martin Luther King Jr. National day of Service, January 19, 2009.
