It has given me an extensive wealth of knowledge on how they work, right from their hardware up to their software packages’ framework; to include associated main features. Along this way, I also gained and developed valuable contacts with local retailers and computer repairs/suppliers. Accordingly, I am now able to efficiently replace, repair and install software or hardware (including installing an OS, drivers, peripherals and suchlike components), in order to refurbish/optimise machines to their full potentials and high performance standards. To research in teams of 30 people, on world poverty and present our findings to the local councilauthorities’ board; together with 6 other Italian (middle) schools. We were rewarded with aCertificate with Merit for the excellent, exhaustive work provided. (in Italy)

In my secondary school in Italy, I (in collaboration with a dear schoolmate) was given the job toresearch an Open Source software that the school wanted to employ on their new range ofInteractive Whiteboard. There were about 20 groups competing and our solution was selected tobe the most competitive and suitable for the purpose.
