He will be 17th chairman of HAL and will replace R following his retirement. He is also the first member-secretary of the design development managem in Ministry of Defence and member-secretary of the national aeronautics coo group. T Suvarna Raju has taken charge as chairman of state-runHindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).He will be 17th chairman of HAL and will replace RK Tyagi’sfollowing his retirement.Earlier, in September 2014, Public Enterprises Selection Boardhad selected him from among five contenders to succeed Tyagi.

These stamps were released to in order to achieve the vision of Clean and Healthy India.Department of Posts has selected the design for the stamps through a competitionamong the children on the theme of Swachh Bharat Mission.

Swachh Bharat MissionIt was launched by the Prime Minister on the 2nd October, 2014 on the occasion ofBirth Anniversary of Father of the Nation- Mahatma Gandhi.This mission seeks to achieve Clean India and aims to provide access to toilets to allhouseholds in the country.It also seeks to provide adequate arrangements for Solid and Liquid WasteManagement.
