“I used this lesson with a group of 3rd graders that I see for reading intervention. These are struggling readers that need engaging lessons to motivate and get them excited about books. This lesson did this! I thought that they might think Curious George was babyish, but they didn't at all and totally got into this lesson. It started a Curious George buzz in my classroom and they were excited to come to class everyday even though we were READING and that is not their favorite thing. We ended up using photo story and it worked well. It was easy for my students to navigate and work in and was easy to publish to our class website. We also printed out a version of the story to keep in our classroom so that kids could revisit it.

I highly recommend this lesson to other teachers!”
