Critical Power Trends

Increased challenges and complexity in

meeting fire & safety codes requirements

due to additional code requirements,

complexity or insufficient resources

Increased pressure of doing more with the

same or even less is challenging facilities to

find ways to reduce cost

Critical Power Management has never been more Critical

Reliability Compliance Efficiency

Business continuity and performance are the

livelihoods of companies in the digital age. Power

is essential to ensuring always-on operations and

processes. EcoStruxure Power enhances

operations staff to avoid downtime and improve

the reliability of the electrical system.

Fire code compliance & accreditation is critical to

organizations to improve electrical safety &

compliance. Ensuring compliance is also a

requirement by law for critical facilities.

EcoStruxure Power offers control, monitoring and

reporting solutions to help facilities meet

compliance requirements.

Energy and labor represent the largest variable

cost for most organizations. In addition, the

trend towards greener facilities is an expectation

instead of a niche. EcoStruxure Power helps

improve energy performance, operational

efficiency, and sustainability of facilities.

Enhanced DDoS protection

Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)

Encrypted data & authentication exchange

Transport Layer Security (TLS)

Encrypted data & authentication exchange

4-levels of authentication

Active directory

Many control functions occur through the ATS & Generator

Cybersecurity is extremely critical to the reliability and

compliance of the system

Ensure complete end-to-end encryption for control, data &

authentication exchanges

Many device passwords in the field continue to utilize default

passwords. Users should change password at first login.

Bootloader and firmware secure signatures ensures firmware

cannot be overwritten with malicious code

Enhanced DDoS protection mitigates potential for

coordinated distributed attacks
