Create Your Account

1. Go to www.kuderjourney.com

2. Click “New users register here!” from the Login Area to begin the registration process.

3. Select your User Type from the drop down menu. DO NOT select “Administrator, counselor, or other authorized person” as your user type.

4. Click Continue to enter your personal information to register your account.

5. Enter a unique username and password and note them here for future reference:

o Username:

o Password:

6. Enter the Activation Code for Antelope Valley College: J4323739YHW

7. Check the box next to "I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of use" after reading this information.

8. Click Register to proceed to your Home page.

Take the Assessments

The first step in the educational and career planning process is learning about your interests, skills, and values by taking the three assessments listed on your Home page: the Career Interests Assessment, Skills Confidence Assessment, and the Work Values Assessment.

1. Click on the Start button next to the Career Interests Assessment to get started.

2. You will be asked to select the desired education level/degree that you plan to attain. You may update this later if you wish.

3. Review your results, click Continue, and then close all pop-up screens.

4. Click on the Home tab in the top navigation menu to return to the Home page and take the remaining two assessments.

Your Home page also provides links your messages, to do list, recommended links, and account information where you can update your profile, upload a photo, and change your grade level each year or your user type/background information.

Meet with the Career Center Coordinator to receive an interpretation of your results and for additional major and career advisement.
