If the customer needs to guarantee its ma-chinery supply over a longer period of time, there is the option of signing a Cramo Long Term. In this kind of agreement, the customer is guaranteed equipment over a longer period, with specific agreements for maintenance, service and similar obligations. The cus-tomers own investment needs are reduced to a minimum.

In addition, there is Cramo Outsourcing, in which Cramo takes over ownership of a customers machinery inventory and related operations. The customer frees up capital and can choose rental solutions for both short and long term.

MINI DUMPERS

Using a mini dumper, you can transport at least five times as much as with a traditional wheelbarrow. The mini dumper is very suitable together with a mini excavator, for example, and it can go almost any-where, including through door openings. Concrete mixers are suitable for mixing smaller quantities of concrete. Cramo has both 1-phase and 3-phase mixers. Tip: For a concrete mixer to provide the same good results each time, it is important to clean the drum with small stones and water between each new mixture.

At Cramo you can rent different kinds of tanks for transport or storage of fuels, for example.

For speeds greater than 30 km/h, an ADR cistern is required. Cramo is now also offering ADR tanks equipped with a rain protectors and environmental boxes. These must be used where local regulations require extra external protection (a so-called retaining dike) when handling diesel.

GUIDE TO THE RIGHT vIbRATORy PLATEIn Construction AMA98, the vibrating plate compactors are divided into weight classes and the specified compaction depth in the table applies to completely packed material. This implies that the layer thickness of the uncompacted material is 25% greater than the specified compaction depth. Construction AMA98 stipulates at least 6 passes. A greater number of traverses does not mean that you cannot increase the layer thickness, but can sometimes imply an added level of safety when there are higher requirements for the compaction results.

A diesel powered heater is a very effective way to heat up buildings due to its high degree of energy efficiency and air flow. These units are very suitable for heating up large buildings or areas. They are very easy to use and demand little degree of service and maintenance. Diesel fuel can be stored separately in ADR tank which can be rented from Cramo as well.

Different heating systems - what suits my needs?

TOOLS DRyING AND HEATING

There are now four different energy sources on the market for tempo-rary heating within the construction and industrial sector. Each energy source has different advantages and disadvantages. By having a correctly dimensioned heating system installed during construction, considerable work, time and money can be saved. Cramo offers a comprehensive range of heating equipment for all four of the energy sources. The four different heating categories are:

ELECTRIC HEATINGAdvantages

Electricity is a maintenance-free method of heating. It requires no maintenance or fitting. The electric heaters are easy to place where there is a heating need, facilitating the heating of individual rooms and areas. Heating with electricity does not involve any discharge or disruptive noise.DisadvantagesHeating with electricity requires a correctly dimensioned electrical installation. If the electrical installation does not have sufficient capac-ity, it will affect other production on the construction site. There are limitations to the size of an electrical unit. For this reason, heating of large premises is not as suitable.

HOT wATERAdvantagesA hot water unit is a flexible heating system in which the supply to the heater goes via a water hose. The system requires access to hot water, which can be supplied either via an existing district heating system or a mobile oil furnace with a substation. Heating with hot water often provides low heating costs.DisadvantagesRequires hot water, which is not always available.

LP GAS

AdvantagesLP gas provides a flexible solution with high effect. LP gas heaters can be placed where there is a need for heating, since supply is via a hose and there are no exhaust emissions that are hazardous to health. The high energy content in LP gas provides very effective heating. DisadvantagesLarger heating systems with LP gas require an LP gas rack that is approved by the authorities. Cramo will gladly help you in gaining approval.

DIESEL OIL

AdvantagesThe high energy content in diesel oil provides very effective heating. Oil heat-ing can heat very large premises. It is a relatively easy and maintenance-free system which only requires the filling of diesel. Diesel can be stored in drums or in ADR tanks, which also can be rented from Cramo. DisadvantagesOil heaters must be placed either outdoors or indoors where the exhaust gases can be discharged.

How do I dimension my heating system?

The formula below can be used to roughly dimension the heating equipment:

Volume to be heated x Insulation factor x Desired temperature rise x 4.18 = The need of the number of kJ supplied per hour (kJ = kilo Joule)

ExampleI want to heat premises with a temperature of 5 C to 20 C; the dimen-sions are 20 m x 10 m x 4 m. The premises have not been insulated yet, but curtain walls and windows have been installed (poorly insulated = 3.0). This gives us:20 x 10 x 4 = 800 m x 3.0 x (20 C-5 C) 15 C x 4.18 = 150.480 kJ

Then choose (a) product(s) according to Capacity kJ (see page 18). In this example, it provides us with the following suitable machine option: 1 (x) 55 kW Diesel heater (198,000 kJ), or LP gas heater PRT50 (198,000 kJ), or hot water unit HWH 48 (198,000 kJ), or 5 (x) 9kW electric fans.

dehumidifiCation

Dehumidifier is a type of drying equipment. To dehumidify is an efficient method compared to warming up and ventilating moist and heat. A dehumidifier converts most of the energy back as heat, the same air is re-circulated.

The method is efficient, easy to control and suitable for temperatures above 15 C. Below 15C we suggest sorption dehumidifiers.

Dehumidification is very important for a long life time of the buildings. The humidity can cause considerable damages, therefore use of dehu-midifiers are more than recommended both during construction and renovating as well as taking care of flooding and high humidity effects.

Light metal scaffolding, narrow It can easily be installed in cramped passages, in shops, storage rooms and between machines in factories. Ascent and descent is on the inside of the lad-der frame, via a hole in the platform. All ladder frames are designed the same, enabling a high tower to easily be made into two or more smaller scaffolds. Legs and wheels fit just as well to all the ladders and can easily be changed. Struts with quick couplings allow installation within minutes and provide a stable scaffold. Also ideal as facade scaffolding. Support struts are required for heights over 2.5m.

Light metal scaffold, wideSuitable for internal and external use. A large plat-form area providing significant reach when doing ceiling work, for example. The wheel attachments in the ladder frames enable quick changes from a high tower to several smaller units.

To make things easier during facade work, there are passage sections allowing free passage be-tween two or more platforms. Support struts are required for heights over 4 m.

Craftsman scaffolding consists of collaps-ible sections, where gables and stairs are folded together for compact transport volumes. During installation, struts are hooked on using quick-locking couplings in the gable ends and the sections are locked together with built-in spring bolts.

The free platform height without support struts is 4 m or two sections.

The greatest difference is the degree of separation. Dust collectors are equipped with two filter systems while a dust cleaner most often only has one. The filter system of the dust collector is built up with a fine filter and a micro filter. The combination of the two filters significantly increases the degree of cleaning. The fine filter catches all but the smallest of particles (also the most dangerous), which are subsequently removed by the micro filter. All of Cramo's dust collectors are equipped with micro filters, providing a degree of separation of 99.995% (according to DOP testing).
