Workshop session

• In pairs – 20 min– Describe the chosen domain within your organisation.– Explore the meaning of ‘systems engineering’ in your

organisation

• In groups - 30 minutes– Discuss the effectiveness of systems engineering practice in

your organisation in practice – Identify any gaps between expected practice (espoused theory)

and actual practice (theory in action)– Identify areas for improvement

• In full session – 30 minutes– Report back on areas of good and weak practice– Brainstorm improvements in SE practice
