What will students be able to do at the end of the lesson?
1. Evaluate the most appropriate plugin for the e-portfolio page 2. Apply the plugin to the design of the web page in the e-Portfolio.
Lesson
Selected course content that will be moved to an online environment: The directions for selecting, evaluating, and applying plugins to the design of the web page in the e-Portfolio will be posted online.

Lesson 20: Sharing Pages
Students may want or need to share a page with a peer evaluator or an instructor. Sometimes you may want to
alert a specific user of content on a specific page in your workspace. Rather than manually constructing an
email with a link, but PBworks has included the "Share this page" feature which streamlines this process for
you. Students will only be able to share pages with users that appear in the wiki's membership list AND have
access to the page. No user can change the security of the page with the "Share this page" function, and only
users with current access to the page can be added to the list of users to share the page with
Date: _Week 20_ Presenter: Dr. Helen Bond
Purpose and Assessment
What will students be able to do at the end of the lesson? 1. Share a page in their e-portfolios with users that have access to the page and thee-Portfolio.

Lesson 21: Deleting Pages and Files in the e-Portfolio
Deleting pages and files is an irreversible action, and once a page or file has been deleted it cannot be recovered. The
backups we make of your workspace are in the event of catastrophic system failure, and cannot be used to retrieve
specific pages and files on your workspace. In order to minimize the risk of deletion, you may want to put your users'
permission level to "Writer." Writers can edit pages and add files, but cannot delete.

Lesson 23: Copying a Page To easily create a copy of a page, just click the "Copy this page" link which appears in the right panel of each page in

page and have the same security preferences.
Date: _Week 23_ Presenter: Dr. Helen Bond Purpose and Assessment
What will students be able to do at the end of the lesson?
1. Recognize if they have permission to copy a page. 2. Copy a page in their e-Portfolio

What are some things that might be challenging, and how will you address them? I foresee few challenges in students copy a page in their e-portfolio. A few students may not easily recognize the page level security settings that may prevent copying. To address this, I will have students develop two
separate pages with two different types of security, so that they might experience the inability to copy. Then I

Lesson 24: Using the Navigator
The Pages & Files manager is a great way to see what is on your workspace, but you may want to explore the
pages available to you on your workspace without navigating away from the current page. The Navigator on
the right hand side of your workspace in view mode accomplishes just this. If you don't see the Navigator in the
right panel, your workspace Administrator may have hidden it using the Customization settings. The
Administrators of the workspace must check "Show Navigator" option in the workspace's Customization setting
in order for users to use the Navigator. By using the Navigator, you can explore which files are available to you
without navigating away from the current page.
Date: _Week 24_ Presenter: Dr. Helen Bond Purpose and Assessment
What will students be able to do at the end of the lesson?
1. Use the Navigator to explore which files are available to you while staying on the current page you are
viewing.
Lesson
