Purpose and Audience

The purpose of this website is to advertise a family owned ice cream shop. The target audience is those who are interested in one of San Francisco’s best ice cream parlor.

Original Design

The original design was not centered and looked heavy and squished on the left side.

While taking the same elements from the original design, I simply shifted the elements around to make the website more balanced.

Instead of having the navigation on the side, I placed it on top so it would be easier to navigate and see everything while reading from left to right.

While the original website had 7 small images, the new redesign has one big slideshow so it can attract the audiences’ eyes more.

After changing little details and moving different elements around, the website looks more balanced and centered.
