(47-31)toearnaspotinthisyear’s State tournamentwhichbeginsthisThursday,March3rd. try’experimentallife-sav-ingtreatments. IntroducedbyRepresen-tativeMelissaWintrow,this‘RighttoTry’billisaneffortthatwillpotentiallyhelppeo-pleextendtheirlives.Thisbillalsoreaffirmedthatdecisionslikethisarebestmadebyapatientandtheirdoctor.“People should have theright to try to save theirownlives,”saidRep.Me-lissa Wintrow. “It’s a keybeliefofmineandofmostIdahoansthatthegovern-mentshouldnothaveasayin our personal medicaldecisions,” ThebillisnowheadingtotheIdahoSenate.

Inthispresentation,learnaboutthefascinatinghis-toryofthecollegeincludingitspatrioticroleinthecom-munityduringWorldWarI,itstribulationsduringtheSpanishFluPandemic,andperhapsmostimportantly,itsroleinshapingtheCityofGoodingandsurroundingcommunities. Inthelastnineyears,CamasCountySchoolDistricthasincreasedoursupplementallevyamountbyexactlyZEROdollars.Thatisasharpcontrasttowhatotherschooldistrictsacrossthestatehavedone.Inspiteofimplementingprogramreductions,conservativebudgetingandfrugalspending,wehaveexperienceddeficitspendingfouryearsinarow.
